Worked very efficiently!
My SUV's rear windshield wiper broke and trying to replace it I pretty much destroyed the old wiper assembly because the embedded metal part that went over the motor's splined shaft wouldn't come off. I tried a gear puller but that was ineffective so I purchased this set of nut splitters. I put it over the "nut" and started to turn the bolt end. It started to shift a bit, so I unscrewed it, then started to screw it in but this time holding the body of the splitter firmly. The blade stopped moving and started digging into the metal. After only a few turns I heard a "crack" and the "nut" was loose. Success! I was then able to install the new wiper assembly. This product worked extremely well. Thank you for a quality product.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME WITH THESE!
These products DO NOT come anywhere EVEN CLOSE to the declared “PROFESSIONAL-- exquisite workmanship. PREMIUM QUALITY, or EASY USE.” They are extremely POOR quality at best! A set screw is used in a very loose channel on the chisel to attempt to guide it into position. There is so much SLOP between the channel in the chisel and the set screw, and between the chisel and tool body that the chisel rotates and binds and does not contact the nut at a right angle for splitting without guiding it with another tool or your fingers! The set screws are shown removed from the splitters in several pics! This would allow the chisel to completely rotate while trying to engage the nut for splitting. Don’t waste your money or your time, as I did, on these Poor excuses for PROFESSIONAL PREMIUM QUALITY pieces of junk!!!!

Decent value.
Good value for the money. Split the nut like a nut cracker should. Might have to bore out the smaller sizes to fit over the bolt head on the smaller sizes.

Works great until it doesn't
I had a nut on my sway bar end link in a bad position and just couldn't get an impact gun onto it. So nut splitter was an option to try. First attempt the pointy end of the splitter turned and kind of split the nut at an angle. Not a big deal as I could see it did split the nut partially. So I backed it off and straightened the splitter and adjusted the set screw. Had to go around the nut a few times to get it to break off into pieces that could come off the bolt. Then came the second nut that was in a more difficult position. And this time the splitter was not able to split the nut cleanly. And I could see the splitter getting duller each time as I went around the nut in different positions. And each time, the circle of the tool starting getting deformed and becoming ineffective. Then the set screw broke and I could no longer use the splitter. Then spent 6 hours with a dremel trying to finish the job.I would say that the nut splitter can work. But after a few uses it's pretty much done and becomes a throwaway item. Probably need several just to do one job.

Cut through the stubborn nut
I was trying to get the top nut off of my 2012 Prius rear shock absorber and it was not budging. I used the largest nut cracker on it and I had to use a socket with a breaker bar on the tool. I kept cranking it tighter not knowing which would break first, the tool or the nut, suddenly I herd something snap an I am glad to say it was the nut. Even then I had to unscrew the nut off of the shock absorber with a wrench while holding the shaft from turning with an allen key, it fought me the whole way but I got the nut removed and installed my new shock absorber. The other shock absorber while it too was difficult to loosen the nut, I was able to finally remove it with a wrench and allen key. I am glad I bought this tool, I sprayed the threads on the nut and shaft of the shock absorbers and then also the tool when I got it, prior to using it with WD-40.
