Good UV Resin
The previous formula was pretty good, this new one is even better. It cures fast, hard and clear.Take Note:-For very best results, use a 365nm Black light/torch.A 395nm torch WILL cure the resin, but needs a lot more exposure and the results can be a little tacky. When you use a 365nm torch, the difference is night and day, the resin cures quickly and sets hard immediately. You should also be aware of two things.. If you're making something substantial, lay the resin down in layers, so that the UV light can penetrate and do its thing, secondly be aware that the curing process creates a lot of heat, so give it time to cool each time. (So much heat in fact, that I've seen it melt plastic moulds)..Bubbles.the very best way to remove bubbles is with a vacumn chamber, but if your hobby allowance doesn't stretch to that.. using a sharp needle to pop them is one method, and running a naked flame (quickly) over the resin surface is another very effective way to remove them.Used properly, this resin is both cost effective and will give you good results. :)Edit:- Well, I don't know whats happened, but something has changed with this resin. As seen above, it used to be very effective. 5-10 seconds under the U/V and it would be rock hard. But this latest batch is nothing like what I've previously bought. It hardens eventually, but needs at least 30 seconds under the lamp/torch and even then is very tacky to the touch.2 stars removed, and I'll be looking for a new brand.

Does the job well!
Brilliant for smaller products and jewellery. Does take a while to fully cure if you’re doing a thicker layer (2mm up) - 10/15mins or so to fully hardened under a lamp. If it’s just one really thin layer it definitely does harden in about 2 mins. I really like it. The bottle will be bigger but you still get 250, it’s just that they haven’t got a smaller size bottle right now but it doesn’t affect the product at all. I’ve been using this for months for 100’s of jewellery pieces so it really does go a long way

Smelly but good.
Great for making extra pieces from Blue Stuff casts of model parts. Before sanding it is perfectly clear. You can get rid of the few air bubbles that form when just poured by popping with a cocktail stick and running a candle lighter flame briefly over the top to burst the rest. Wear a mask if you have to sand off any sharp edges from the back of your casts.Highly recommended. (Does stink of pine disinfectant though).

This UV adhesive will never replace Araldite.
Initial review:This UV adhesive is a good idea in theory, but not in practice.I tried to repair the broken plastic neck of car wash mop, but the repair didn't provide enough strength.I roughed up all surfaces, and cleaned everything with Methylated Spirit. I even tried adding two additional layers, to make it stronger, but the repair still wasn't strong enough. I eventually had to return to using Araldite, which although it can be a messy adhesive to use, it does give a strong bond.I also use it to repair a broken plastic nozzle, on a small hand vacuum, which was slight more successful, but there is less strain on that, when in use.The viscosity of this UV adhesive is thin enough to seep into any small gaps, but also thin enough to run everywhere, making the repair look unsightly. They say that it doesn't yellow, but it does. The 500g bottle is good value, as long as the adhesive works.I also purchased the ALONEFIRE SV10 Professional 365nm UV Torch 5W USB Rechargeable Ultraviolet Light, to cure the adhesive. However, although the adhesive is clear, I'm not sure how the UV light can penetrate all the way through the adhesive, on a very tight joint, to cure it all.I could see very small, faint puffs of vapour, when applying the UV light to the adhesive, which isn't mentioned, and I'm not sure if it is harmful. I could detect a chemical smell of the vapour, so be careful to use this product in a well ventilated area. This UV adhesive is easy to use, and cures quickly, but lacks sufficient strength for most of my needs.Final review:I have tried this UV Adhesive on six different repairs, and found it doesn't make a strong enough repair. Good in theory, but not in practice. It has been a complete waste of my time and money.

Disappointed
Arrived fast but it really does not cure well for me. I tried several different moulds, for varying times to test out how long it could cure for, but even after 4 minutes under the UV light for both sides it remains wet and not even close to curing. Disappointed because I was glad to see a cheaper option but it really is a case of getting what you pay for.Amended review: after a few weeks of trial and error with this resin, I can give a better review now than previous. So basically if you aren’t using any colours at all, this resin is totally fine and cures amazingly. It cures hard within a minute so long as there’s no colour. Once you start adding in pigments however it becomes trickier. The darker the pigment the less likely it is to cure solid and safe.Works a lot better with mica powder than with colouring dyes, especially if you use minimal powder. I tried a dark green colouring dye and while it cured on the outside, it didn’t cure all the way through so it exploded and resin leaked everywhere. But i also used it with pink powder and it cured really well. So it’s trial and error basically. Don’t use this for your big projects without testing the cured colour result first.

Value for money
Great value for money, very quick delivery, not as smelly as my normal uv , does dry well IF you do thin layers at a time. Takes a lot longer when adding any colour pigment to it and if you add to much pigment especially powder it will not dry it stays sticky. Can't fault it really for the price. I will buy again if the price stays reasonable

The best I've tried
I've tried loads of different uv resin. This one is the best. Don't get any air bubbles, completely clear. It's been brilliant for all my resing models I make. I'll be ordering alot more
