I never knew about cod liver but I've heard great nutritional things about it. I love sardines and I read that the flavor is similar.The texture is soft, thick and delicious. You can't eat it regularly like sardines because it's extremely high content of vitamin K which can become toxic in high consumption.I eat it as a once in a while delicious delicacy.I drain all the natural cod liver oil from the can and use it for cooking oil. Gives a fantastic flavor.

My Wife and I really like this. Mild Flavor and extremely nutritious. If you are on Carnivore or Keto Diet, this is an excellent addition.

Tastes great, quality of the fish is decent. We noticed there's quite a bit of oil in each can. You're getting lots of oil in each can instead of actual product.Good source of Omega 3, vitamin A, zinc, iodine.

I really hesitated today to open the tin and try this wild-caught Cod Liver. Remembered that some people thought it actually had a pleasant flavor - but others didn't. But with my extremely low Vitamin D levels I knew I had to try it because nothing else was bringing those levels up. WOW! What a wonderful surprise! Hey, Mikey, she likes it!! (like the old commercial about someone trying something for the first time.) It was a little salty and very mild! Almost as good as Nova! And I was left with a relaxed, warm feeling afterward - like my body had finally gotten something it needed so badly! Ditch the cod liver oil and try this gem!! You very well may like it better!!

As a fish lover, this requires an acquired taste. If you have plans to eat just a bit and leave the rest for tomorrow, don't. The smell and taste enhance so much that it is awful. So, eat all at once. The cod liver is smooth and tasty, try to eat with bread or crackers.Note to Amazon: When I took out all the cans, three of them were dented. So I will throw them away. I realized after the return date so I am unable to ask for my money back for the three damaged cans. Inspect all your cans when you receive your order consumers.
