I purchased this for my son who wanted to try piano. Bright and colorful illustrations, great explanations of how to learn, and lots of familiar tunes make this a great book!

I used this book to learn and I’ve been using it to teach for the last 3 years or so! It works great and slowly progresses students to a comprehensive understanding of music

It had British system note names, like crochet, minim, etc.! NOT what wanted! And no indication on the front of the book that it was the British System! I teach in the US and have never had this problem before. So, BUYER BEWARE!! We had already written in the piano and theory books when we discovered the problem, so I couldn't return them.
