I became very frustrated looking for a good pair of Pinking Shears for my project, without breaking the bank. A lot of the reviews were negative, saying either the shears wouldn’t cut multiple layers of fabric, were too stiff to operate, hurt their hands, etc. Since I needed a pair of shears, and had multiple experiences with Fiskars products, I decided to purchase these. They were delivered quickly and were in perfect condition. No rust or any other blemish, as reported in several reviews. I am happy to report they work just like you would expect a quality pair of shears to work! They cut through 3 layers of cotton flannel with no difficulty, leaving a perfect “pinked” edge. Despite the fact that Fiskars shears are now made in China, they have apparently still maintained their quality. I’m very happy!

Cut straight, smooth and not much effort needed. Great product and a good price. I would buy again!

Solid, strong, sharp and great quality as expected from Fiskars.Not much more to say other than I spent years saving money on cheaper scissors thinking that scissors are scissors. Wrong.I finally got frustrated with these money saving other brands of scissors not cutting cleanly or easily and bought these.I immediately ordered 3 more to keep in other rooms/areas of the house and tossed those other cheap ones out.

I am left handed, and have always had trouble using a right hand scissor. I received my ñew left hand scissors and it is a joy to use.The quality of the blades and the ease of the cut, makes it a joy to use. I plan to purchase a few more.If you are looking for a true left hand scissors I highly recommendThis product. Well worth the price.

They seem well made & work OK for the light cutting I've done so far. As for comfort, that's going to depend on your hand size because the handles are severely contoured so they probably fit a medium size hand. My hand is slightly larger than medium & these aren't a perfect fit for me. If my hand was any larger they'd be uncomfortable.I'm 68 years old & have been using right-handed scissors my entire life. So I'm used to lining up my cuts along the left edge of the upper blade. These line up with the right edge of the upper blade. Believe it or not, it's a bigger adjustment than I'd expected. So these will go in my kitchen where most of my cutting doesn't need to be precise & I'll eventually try using them when the need arises to cut a dense material that is painful to cut with right handed scissors.If I was designing scissors for left-handers, I'd make the grip less severely contoured, maybe using a material that had some compressive property, and I'd keep the blades the same as on right-handed scissors. There may be some just like that on the market but I'd assumed any marketed to left-handers would be designed that way. Now I know better.P.S. - the so called universal grip scissors that I've tried aren't terrible but still aren't very comfortable for cutting denser materials.

I'm a seamstress, and in my world, there is no greater sin than using sewing scissors to cut anything OTHER than fabric. Apparently, my son somehow never got that memo. After an incident involving my sewing scissors and a metal toy, I was left with a pair that looked like they'd been through a war. He insisted they still cut. 😒 The culprit has been reprimanded and the ruined scissors found their final resting place in the trash. 💀Thank goodness for these new scissors! When they arrived, I immediately put them to work! They glide through fabric like it's butter. The precision is fantastic, and they feel comfortable and light enough to use for long periods. It's a true relief to have a pair that's sharp, reliable, and reserved for its one true purpose. These are an absolute lifesaver.
