I've used hundreds, if not thousands, of these particular bags for shipping everything. They are made of a durable plastic (doesn't tear easily) and conveniently has forgiving interior margins. The adhesive is on the flap which is ideal and easier to seal.

They work well. We have been using these for about a year now. Occasionally the whole top strip will tear off just because the adhesive and the backing are pretty interested in staying together. But it's maybe happened a handful of times and I wouldn't let that stop me from re-ordering. You just have to be carful not to try to rip the backing off too hard. :)

I use these for packaging small clothing items. I tried a different brand once, but these are the ones I like and will continue to buy. The side seam doesn't split when you put the clothing inside. No matter how slight your touch is, as soon as you try and peel the adhesive band, the bag will tear on its corner.not really useful when you want a good seal.will not purchase from this brand again. 100$ down the drain.
