Not worth your $15
This little gadget is not worth your $15. Poor design, sharp edges, hard to retract, and worst of all, even though I didn’t find it as fun as I thought, I could have at least handed this down to my nephew (8yrs old) but NOPE, its dangers for him. It can cut him and too hard to retract back to original form.Cheap quality with the cheap wrapping design with peeled off after first release.I think the paper versions are way cooler

READ BEFORE BUYING
NOT A NEGATIVE REVIEW. JUST HONEST OPINION. CONSIDER THE AGE IF BUYING FOR A CHILD. Really cool product! Made well. Works effortlessly and easy to use. Very large as well. Longer than a pool cue. HOWEVER I would not purchase for a child and if so pls consider their hand:eye coordination and dexterity/reaction time. Reason being the material it is made from sliced my son’s fingers. I did not anticipate how well it would be made for this price. My fault for thinking magic prop would be something cheaply made. This is not. It has some weight to it!! The material is thick but thin enough to slice something. I was more worried it was going to hit someone accidentally. It pops out SO FAST! Even when closing it I didn’t feel it would slice though skin bc it’s not that thin. But it’s thin enough. Just consider age and/or maturity when purchasing. But all in all I’m definitely shocked at how great the quality was!

Broke in the first 5 minutes. Sending back asap! Worthless crap
Flimsy, junky and dangerous. Broke before my daughter even had a chance to play with it. Definitely not worth the money.

Alright product, has some complications but overall is ok good for what I am wanting
This product is overall alright it has some hiccups1- it can be fairly flimsy being that it is a rolled up price of metal2- it is very finicky and difficult to push back into the original handheld state3- it has sharp edges at the base so when collapsing it be carful of the metalThis product overall though is what I wanted it just takes some time to break inAlso after seeing the other reviews about people getting hurt with this product I have a pice of advice when in packaging the product, upon opening the box the main product is inside a ziplock baggie. When it is collapsed in the baggie it is NOT locked so that may be why the staff pops out and expands upon opening so when opening the package be sure to LOCK the staff before opening the baggie. And when you collapse it I recommend twisting and pushing at the same time as well as be aware of the sharp edges as to not cut yourself.I would recommend this for those that like to twirl staffs and batons.

... well its entertaining
Listen. Its a retractable staff that I bought in impulse. Its about the size of my thumb, then when you release, it expands to a few feet in length. It does exactly what its advertised to. Be mindful that it expands at a speed of mach 7. My boyfriend was messing with it once and set it off; it shot across the room and hit me in the throat. It literally shut all higher functions of my brain down for about 10 seconds while I tried to remember how breathing worked, and that was probably one of the better case scenarios that could have happened. This thing is truley not a toy. If Amazon would actually let me take a photo I would show you a picture of the box, but instead I'll just tell you the warning on the front. "Danger: be careful to hit people." Mission accomplished

Not worth purchasing - flimsy and breaks easily
I got this for my son. It was quick to open which he loved, however everytime it needed to be closed I had to do it, and it increasingly sliced into my hand - the edges are very sharp. The gold leafing came off within an hour and not much longer, it was so mangled - flimsy metal - that it stopped functioning.
