Omix-Ada | 12303.22 | Door Seal, Front, Left | OE Reference: 55395275AU | Fits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK

The door seals are the right size for my 2017 however are thicker than the original seals requiring more effort to close. I expect they will relax over time but hopefully not too much.

My 2016 JK leaked pretty dramatically when it rained. I tried a lot of different solutions and ultimately installing this new door gasket completely fixed the problem. Pretty easy to install, and yes, you do have to aggressively shut the doors because of the thickness but I'd much rather have that than the leak. Also, about half the price of the OEM gasket.

When I first installed it is was a little concerned because this new seal was "puffier" than the factory one. After triple checking that everything was correct FIRST and THEN shutting the door rather hard a few times, it has seated just fine. You have to close that 1 door a tad harder than the others but it seals up tight as a drum. There are about 3 tiny plastic aqua colored retaining clips on the factory sealed that are reused. Don't trash the oem seal until you've removed them. If they stay in the door, just leave them there. You don't have to remove them to put them in the gasket. Just stretch the gasket over them. It's really easy. Had a downpour yesterday and not a drop got in the Jeep. I'm rating it about 4 stars because of its puffier than the oem one, but it works great.

Let me start off with saying that the seal is great! I didn’t want to take any stars away because it is good! But if you are looking at a new seal because you have a leak this might not fix your issue. So I hope my review can help you save some money.I bought this seal thinking it would fix a leak I had with my drivers side door. Every time it rained, water would pool up at my feet. I couldn’t see where it was coming in, I knew it wasn’t the roof because I had bought a brand new soft top for the summers. So I assumed it was the seal on the door and the water was riding down the crack. I bought this seal hoping it would fix the issue and I thought for sure it would, turns out it did not. I finally fixed my leak with some camper tape (a foam tape). So if you have the same leak that I did, save yourself some money and just buy that $10 roll of foam tape!

Ordered this item then RL stepped in and it took me a bit to install it. Install time was about 20 minutes. Just needed a flat headed screwdriver. Bit more cushion in it than the original but the seal fit in just fine. My door closes easily. Had a rainstorm right after installing it and I had no leaks. I will be buying a right side one next. Happy with the product

JEEP FIX: Bought the door seal to fix a leak from the upper left drivers side door. The Omix-ADA just didn't work well. It looked similar to my original door to body seal gasket but it was almost like it was stretched because it was a little longer than it should be on the bottom after affixing. Did it fit in the channels? Yes. However, after installing the Omix, I sprayed the soft top with water and sure enough the Jeep still leaked. Repositioned it again and it still leaked. It was a little worse than my original door seal. I reinstalled my original and sent this Omix-ADA back to Amazon who accepted the return. Thank you Amazon.For one more try - I bought the OEM Mopar Drivers door seal from Amazon. It was more than twice as expensive as this Omix. I didn't have high hopes. Guess What? The Mopar version was thicker, more supple and solved my leak. It also felt like it had more filling in the tube where it needed it. Recommend purchasing the Mopar version from Amazon and not Omix. Was easy to install into the stock location but it is either to thick or two stiff and the door is difficult to close. I have to slam it. Tried reinstalling and used heat gun to soften it but no luck. Door adjustment did not help. Was better than the torn one I had, but not a great experience so far. :-(

Leaky JK, Previously replaced seal (new design) failed over time. Bought this to replace, however it's the the pre-2017 redesign. Return
