Apparently it is made of 304 stainless steel as opposed to the higher quality 316 . I found this info amongst the users ratings and comments.

Yes the hanle seems to be easily when it comes to cleaning.tacky, ours does not stick to the hand but is weird to the touch. I have a feeling the handle will get very grubby with use, the surface coating on the handle does not lend itself to clean easily.

We han one of those and it was SO NOISY WHEN BOILING. CLEANED IT A COUPLE OF TIMES WITH DR BECKHAM. BUT DID NOT LAST VERY LONG BEFORE IT WAS BACK. TO NORMAL. you can try to clean it. Or you can send it back. If lts no good . We've realised, that it's probably the type of water you're supplied with. Check to see if it's applicable

Nice Retro Kettle

A good looking product, a liittle noisy and a little slower to boil water than my previous kettle.Lightweight, easy pour no spillage looks neat.

Gorgeous

It's beautiful. The colour choice is very fitting for the vintage look and at a competitive price. The base is sturdy and its not too loud. My only concern is that it requires quite a lot of water (1.2 ltrs) for minimum boil probably due to the shape but other than that no issues at all.

Attractive and nice quality

This kettle is a beautiful addition to our new kitchen. Love the colour & design.My only gripe is that it is slow to come to a boil.

So noisy and takes so long to boil!

Bought the kettle as it looks good, BUT it is SO noisy when it boils we have to shut the kitchen door for fear of waking the whole house up! Also takes SO long to boil, even have time for a shower whilst waiting for it!!! Wouldn’t buy again. Have had 5 months now but will replace as fed up with noise and slowness.
