Very happy with the Express Water Elite unit. I purchased this because it was slightly smaller dimensionally with the tank and more compact filters than the other Express Water units. Took about an hour or so for installation. Water tastes great and we should have ordered a RO system for our house many years ago. If you are looking for better tasting water or to remove chlorine or fluoride, I’d definitely recommend. They say the filters last a year but other systems say 6 months, so I guess we will see how long they last. Still worth the money. Water is so important in your overall health!

Update: After all the hell I dealt with trying to get this company to back their product or even follow through on what they said they would do, I finally resigned and sent the unit back for a refund. This also meant having to patch up the damage to my sink and pipes made when drilling holes in order to install the unit, and I'll still never receive reimbursement for the $300 I had to spend for a plumber because they wouldn't help with locating the proper fitting. Anyway they said the only way I can receive the refund is by check since it was purchased on Amazon. It's been like three weeks since they said they sent the check and I still have not received it. They said there's no tracking number or anything so I can't even verify that it was sent. And now they are no longer responding to my emails. Worst company I've ever dealt with outside of the government.The fitting(s) they include for the cold water line did not fit the hoses/attachments under my sink. I tried going to Home Depot and finding something on my own, but I couldn't get help from employees and the closest thing they had in store ended up leaking when I attached it. After getting on the phone with customer service, they told me if I sent pictures they'd have their 'in-house plumber' contact me the next day. They never did, so I called. They said he wasn't back and they weren't sure when he would be. I waited 2 more days and tried again, and they told me the same thing. When I pressed for more information, they said they would find out when he'd return, and ended up telling me there's no way to know and sometimes he can be gone for up to two weeks at a time. They recommended I contact a plumber. I stated I wasn't happy about having to spend a couple hundred more dollars when they advertised this system as being 'easy to install'. The only other option they offered was a refund, but after spending as much time as I had already getting everything else installed, I wasn't willing to take it all apart again and ship it back to them and then go through the same process with another company. So the attractive price you see here is not the cost of the unit, unless you get lucky and one of the two fittings they include with the unit happens to fit your system, and there seem to be many cases where it does not. At this point, I can't speak on the quality of the water or anything else since it's been almost a week and I'm still trying to get the stupid thing installed. Hope your experience is better than mine.Update:So I ended up having to hire a plumber and spending another $300 just to get the machine connected to my water line. On top of that, there was an unpleasant aftertaste even after draining and refilling the tank numerous times. They instructed me to drain the tank while it was upside down a few times. That did seem to improve the taste but it still has an unpleasant aftertaste. We'll see if they're willing to help me any further or if this is the best that can be expected from this unit. Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend this unit.

My husband was able to install easily within an hour. We have been testing the water with a tds tester and I’m glad that it has been testing from 33-56ppm. We have emptied the tank over the past day I’m hoping it will be lower than 31ppm because my mother in law has a really old water filter with three filters and it tests at a ten. I will be so sad if 31ppm is the lowest with all these filters. Without the water filter my tap water test at 500ppm and my mother in laws water tests at 600ppm. We had purchased a water drop before this and returned it because literally made no difference in the water. So this is a step up but I’ll keep my figures crossed because I like how easy it will be changing the filters out by screwing on and off and it being once a year.

This is my cooking and drinking water.The flavor of coffee is better than most restaurants. This is designed so well.Very easy to change filters.

Super easy to install. Replacing a system that costs 3 times as much and like this better so far.
