Pleased with this base and the service from the company.
We are pleased with the base and it's excellent for holding the parasol securely in the strong wind. We only had one problem with the item, when it arrived it was missing the caps that go on the end of each quarter to hold the water in. I contacted the company through Amazon who responded immediately I explained the situation and they sent me a complete new base with caps in a matter of day's.Full marks for their quick response.I only gave 4 stars for manoeuvrability as they are rather heavy to lift once filled with water, but I guess that's why they do the job intended very well.

Base plates
I would of thought as for the job these do that the plastic would Of been stronger/thickerHandle is useless it needs to go through or your just not got good grip. I also would have thought a connection ring would have been great addition so as all can be connected together.Sand is much heavier than water giving a better stability, could also fill with sand and top up with water if needed to be even heavier!Lost marks on quality of plastic and usless handle
