Works well but needed to file button slot wider to fit mic button
Well positioned for use and not intruding on passenger space, feels sturdy, looks good. My mic button didn't fit the slot, so had to file the slot a little wider.

Mic mount
I had to modify this mount as it was too narrow to accept the button on my microphone for my ft400. Works excellent now.

Simple & Effective
This mount is perfect for anyone with a Jeep JL/JT. It’s one of the best value for your money options. The installation was easy, as it only involved popping out the ac control panel and removing one 10mm bolt. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars, is that it doesn’t fit out of the box. As other reviews mentioned, I had to open up the hole in the mount with a file to get it to fit. That said, I would still recommend it as well as order it again.

Perfect Fit
Great product. Fit is perfect as described. Simple to install and extremely durable. This location is great for your microphone because it doesn’t get in the way of any of the other features of the dash you need to use. Definitely recommend.

There's better options that actually fit
As other reviews have said, the mounting hole is too small. I thought enough time had passed for the vendor to fix this but apparently not. The mount won't fit over the passenger grab handle as shipped. I used a file to remove about 1/8" from one side of the oblong hole to get this installed. It works now, but for the price I shouldn't have to do that.
