Dog Puzzle Toys, Interactive Dog Toys, DELOMO Puzzle Dog Toy for IQ Training for Cats and Slow Feeder for Dogs with 2.1 Ib Food Jar

I initially got this feeder for my cat, but he didn't seem to be able to figure out how to make it work. However, my dog figured it out quickly and enjoys it intensely. Nice to have another puzzle feeder for him that is easy to fill.Filling the feeder is simple and it holds a fairly large quantity of kibble (probably about 2 cups, maybe a bit more). It is sturdy (holds up to my 100 lb dog pounding on the button and shoving it about). The suction cups don't work on my linoleum floor (the surface is too highly textured), but I imagine they would do fine with a smoother surface). There are adhesive squares on the bottom that could be used as well, but I'm not sure what circumstances would make them useful.My only complaint about the feeder is that it is hard to clean. There is a small bottle brush that comes with it. I do use this to try to clean out the crumbs and have flushed water through it. But it takes ages to dry, as the water gets into small gaps where it has minimal surface area. Usually I just wipe off as much of it as I can reach and try to brush out what crumbs I can.

This product is a good idea in theory. The problems are: it’s much smaller than it seems in the ad & the suction is not strong enough. The dogs knocked it right over and the top comes off. It does not seem very sturdy. I had to take it away from the dogs so they did not break it. It seems to work at first when the compartment is full of kibble or treats, but once it gets down to about halfway the food won’t come out anymore. The dogs can still see and smell the food, so they keep knocking it around

The media could not be loaded.  I had issues with my pup gobbling her food and getting hiccups.This slow feeder is WONDERFUL! I have had it for a week, and after me showing it to her twice (put paw on thing, pressed her paw down, food came out) she started doing it on her own.Dog size: 30lb poodlePros:1) Large capacity of food. Takes about 1.5 days to empty, so I just refill a bit about once a day. She is still growing, so she eats a lot.2) Clear design makes it easy to see when it needs a refill3) Let's kibble out through 4 sides, making it very engaging for my pupper!4) Includes 2 ways to attach to the ground. Suction cups seem to be working fine on our wood, although it has shifted over 1-2 inches over the week.Cons:1) Although I haven't needed to clean it yet, it does seem difficult to clean. Thankfully, the design is such so that her tongue never actually touches the kibble while it's in the container.. meaning that it doesn't need to get cleaned as regularly, unlike out standard food bowl.2) While not an issue for us, I could see how this might be a little loud or irritating to some people. I included a video with this so you can hear it.Pro tip: fill it, shake the container up a bit so it settles, then refill. I wanted to see how much I could fill in case so would be gone a while and it was almost double!

Bought this for my dog. It was on the smaller side but it sufficed. However I couldn’t get the suction cups to stick at all. So every time my dog would use it it got pushed all over the floor. Secondly it jammed when anything other than very small cat kibble was used.If this was made larger it would be better.

I couldn’t train my dog to paw it for kibble, but she just stands over it and stares at it or pushes it around the room. It is sturdy and easy to take apart to clean. The downside to this device is, even with small kibble, it gets stuck at the output and I have to stick my fingers inside the lower part to dislodge the kibble. It won’t dislodge if I continue to hit the top of the device. This happens frequently. I will probably donate it.

Love the concept! However, this does not work the same way for different food: my dog’s kibbles are at a shape that constantly make this stuck, and I have to push the button really hard to make it works again

The media could not be loaded.  Great food enrichment for dogs! My dog loves eating out of this. Took her a couple feedings to figure it out completely. But she seems happier and more tired after eating. Haven't tried cleaning it yet but seems itll be easy enough. Tiny food pieces do get into the far sides. Overall, great buy!Update: after only about a week of having it it started to get stuck constantly. I’m having to get up and shake it for my dog because the button isn’t letting anything out. Bummed it doesn’t work well.

I’ve purchased several types of slow feeder type interactive toys for my dogs and thought this would be a great addition to the ones we have.You have to use very small kibble and it doesn’t hold much and takes me 2 or 3 tries pushing it down to get any to come out. My dog (an Aussie/Shepherd mix) can’t push down hard enough with her paw to get it to work so she ignores it completely unless I sit there and do it for her.Wouldn’t recommend!
