This item is cheap and it does exactly what I wanna do. I live in the mountains in a cabin and the bears come every once in a while they’re not afraid of anything, but my car along that scares a living daylights out of them so I recorded my loud car along and put it on this device and it sounds just like my car along. I haven’t tested it to see if it’ll work with the bears. I won’t turn it on all the time cause I don’t want to scare the deer away, but it looks like it’s gonna work. I highly recommend this at least for what I’m bought it for.

Scares the hell out of our cat that was peeing in the corner of the closet! (I enjoyed "barking like a dog" which happened when the cat got near the corner! Great result, and great fun.

Pretty good little device. I bought it to be a deterrent. I laughed when a neighbor set it off and was totally freaked out.

I liked it! I had seen a review about using it for office door decorating so this was just what I needed. Ordered it for next morning delivery and it came on time.Set up is easy. The instructions were very clear. I appreciated the video as well as the written instructions.It is very loud, even on low! That is good. When I recorded though, I made sure my content was at a low volume so that it would not be as loud during playback.There's very good range. It's a busy hallway and I didn't want it to pick up every movement so I just covered up the beam a little bit and it provided exactly the range I was hoping for. Thank you

Works perfectly. Mom kept forgetting and trying to stand without the assistance of her caregiver. I recorded a message to remind her to sit down and push her call button for help. She had been falling so this device was a winner.

Don't think this will fool a person into believe a mean dog is behind that door. It's fun - but i could only get growling to sound sort of realistic. No way does barking sound real - way too cheap of a speaker.

Product works great and is easy to use. So for it's been used to prank people and their reactions have been hilarious! 🤣

I bought this device because I am a jerk. I usually stash some cash in a toolbox. It is always gone when I get home.With this device I can leave a " You are welcome" message or a scary scream. I have also placed this device in the cookie jar, and in a cupboard. I haven't tried what I bought it for. Leaving short sound recordings around the house, like the sound of my front door squeak and place it on the ceiling so that it is triggered after the victim has turned their back to the door and started walking up the stairs.. In the short time that I have had this it has functioned flawlessly. The play back speaker is louder than I expected. I also downloaded the BigSound Effects app. Now I can record cartoon soffffunds and play them back in random pfflaces. Like inside my locked mailbox. I could use a different animal sound every day.. I think I will start with a big cat purring..
