I purchase the six pack when I need cleaning cartridges, they work like new and were designed for the Braun cleaning system, easy to use so it's a quality product. It beats having to go to the store all the time by buying in quantity.

Reordered these Clean & Renew cartridges without paying much attention to the images on the Amazon product page. Received a Braun 4-pack of cartridges with no mention of Clean & Renew on the box, and a cartridge image that looked different than all previous cartridges I had received.Went to the Braun service website (service.braun.com) and clicked Product Parts > Product Category: Shavers > Model Name: Smart Care Center, Clean & Charge, Clean & Renew > Search. In search results list, clicked Show Parts for Clean & Renew Series 7.Parts list for this model showed entries for both the old and new style Clean & Renew refill cartridges, confirming that new cartridges I received were suitable for my model of cleaning station. It also indicated that, while the old style cartridge fits all of this series of cleaning centers, the new style cartridge excludes types 5301 and 5302.Looked for a four digit type number on my cleaning station, but didn’t find one.Opened new box of cartridges and checked one for a label, finding label on the bottom that did indeed say Clean & Renew.Inserted new cartridge into my cleaning station and pushed it all the way back, just like I’ve always done with the older style cartridges, but when I pushed down on body of cleaning station it wouldn’t go down to close. Pulled cartridge forward slightly and tried again, and then cleaning station closed properly.Ran a cleaning cycle on my shaver, and it appears to have completed successfully.Checked old and new boxes for volume of cleaning solution in each cartridge, and it appears that both old and new style cartridges contain the same 5.7 oz.Appears that new style cartridge uses significantly less plastic than the old style cartridge, so kudos to Braun for that.Sources of Confusion:- Information printed on retail box is insufficient to determine compatibility with the full range of cleaning stations the cartridges are intended for- Determining compatibility is complicated by multiple names for cleaning station series: Smart Care Center, Clean & Charge, Clean & Renew- Amazon product page for Clean & Renew 4-pack includes images of both old and new style cartridges, while shipped product only includes new style cartridges- Claim of ‘100% compatible with ALL Braun’s Clean&Charge units’ on Amazon product page is accompanied by a photo that includes Series 7 cleaning station, yet website lists exclusions for that series

I purchased the Braun Clean & Renew Refill Cartridges CCR for my electric shaver, and while they do exactly what they’re supposed to—clean and lubricate the shaver effectively—the longevity leaves much to be desired. The fresh lemon scent is a nice touch, making the cleaning process feel a bit more premium. However, the cartridge doesn’t last long; I found myself needing to replace it every month or even sooner with regular use. Considering the price, it adds up quickly, making it an expensive maintenance cost over time. It’s convenient, but I wish it offered more value for the price.Pros:- Effectively cleans and lubricates the shaver- Pleasant lemon scent during useCons:- Short lifespan—needs frequent replacement (monthly or less)- Expensive over time due to frequent cartridge changes
