Works perfectly with ProForm City L6 Treadmill
Heart rate sensor arrived with the battery already fitted. Just attach it to the supplied elastic belt, wet the back of the belt, put it on and press the Bluetooth button on the ProForm treadmill and it was paired within a few seconds. Status LED on the sensor only flashes a couple of times when you put it on, but useful to check battery condition. Heart rate value is received and displayed in the treadmill. No issues with intermittent comms, just works perfectly. Remember to remove the sensor from the strap when you're done to save the battery life. (No off switch.) Info was also displayed on the ifit app on my ipad, so didn't use the Magene app.

Great HRM for sport and fitness.
This is a long term review after owning two of these.....my first one was lot on a cycling trip. The HRM and strap are very well made and robust for the price. The branded alternatives from Garmin, Wahoo....etc. are way more expensive and essentially do the same thing. The HRM connects with watches, cycle computer head units, and indoor trainers. I often train using power and HR Zone's and I find that the HRM keeps a pretty good and accurate record of where I am at. Although I am not an olympic standard athlete by any means. The only thing to consider when buying this HRM it that , compared to some of the other HRM I have owned, I found that the battery doesn't last as long in this model than others. I have found that I need to change it every 3/5 months. It is a minor issue but worth considering.

Works well, mostly
HR seems accurate and the band is pretty comfortable for long rides. I have issues getting it to connect to my GPS if I don't put the monitor on while my GPS is already on and nearby, so maybe user error but it would be nice if the HR monitor attempted to connect more often.

Lasted less than a year
Worked well for the first 10 months and appeared to give reliable and reasonably accurate readings. However the unit then started to have connection issues and the readings became wildly inaccurate.New batteries have been tried on multiple occasions but have made no difference. In conclusion this has been a waste of money. The unit is so inaccurate that it's unusable and as it's now more than 12 months old it's out of guarantee and can not be returned.

Great value heart rate monitor
I've used this for several weeks and it's worked just fine, and seems every bit as accurate as the Polar H7 it replaced.Build quality feels good, certainly for the cost, and I've had no issues with connecting or drop outs, plus the strap seems to be of decent quality and widely adjustable to suit a range of chest sizes.Highly recommended!

Really impressed with this item
Was worried by some other reviews but my experience has been very position. Using it for Zwift so transmitting to laptop - bought it only as I left my Garmin strap in the office. I am now using this new strap in PREFERENCE to the Garmin - I find it is more responsive. I have had not problems with battery life (still on original battery) or accuracy (HR is the same as I would have expected from the Garmin). I am pretty sure this connected by Ant+ rather than BT but I'm not frankly bothered which I use as long as it works and it does indeed work for me on that set up very well inceed. Otherwise the strap is similar if not identical to the Garmin. But for the money...... wow......

Works great
Works perfectly, reads as accurate as my old wahoo which this has replaced. Pairs with Garmin and Wahoo bike computer and Zwift. Remember to turn the battery around when you get it out the box or it won’t work.

Stops working correctly after a few months.
I have had this product for over a year now, and I have to agree with MD_01_UK. At fist I had no issues at all, but now it simply will not read accurately. It shows my heart rate jumping all over the place. With my watch I can see my HR stable at around 115 yet this device will report anything for 5 to 155. I have maintained it well, cleaning the strap every so often, and I have ensured I am using good quality batteries. It may seem like a good deal, but there is no longevity in this device.
