I don't have a big ant problem here but I live in the forest and every spring we start having some ants inside. They are usually the really little ones but they are annoying. They walk around onour kitchen counters and the odd other place here and there. And..they can bite if they are on you and you don't know it.I have a spot where I sit in our living room to put my feet up, cruise the net, munch on lunch while I stream something, have tea, etc. Recently, every day I had to squish at least 6-8 of them as they crawled around on the table next to me or my lap desk. Occasionally I would pick up my mug of tea and there would be several on it. A thorough cleaning didn't really help.I didn't want to buy poison but these claim to not outgas and despite being a liquid bait they are spill-proof. They are super easy to set up. I put one behind the front and back legs of the end of the sofa where I sit, another one sort of pushed under and in the middle of the sofa and another at one of the legs at the other end. I did this one day around 4 PM. I still had a couple of visits from ants that evening but the next day and every day since, I no longer have ants bothering me.I'm impressed!

I had to go buy Raid aerosol ant killer. Immediately solved the issue. Ants were not attracted to this product. Waste of money! Not expected from leader in insect control. Not recommended…

The product itself works as designed. What does not work as design are the ants - unlike mouse traps, the ants are not particular enamored with what is inside. As another detriment, the ants only have 3 small slots to enter on one side of the device (I assume the limited entry was to reduce dangers to humans). So when I first used it, I would see the ants walk over it and around it, but never in it. When I checked the box, the recommendation was to open several in the affected area - I assume it is because it is playing the odds - more open slots, more chance of an ant entering one.With this said, it took about 2 days and 3 pods before I started to see a reduction. I did find a little trick though. I noticed that the ants were attracted to my bottle of honey. As a bonus, the bottom of the honey bottle had an indentation that was perfect for sitting on top of a Raid pod. This greatly improved the chances of an ant entering as they were trying to circle the bottle looking for an opening. The ants disappeared over night. I would just point out the obvious though - if you plan to use this trick, make sure the bottle is fully sealed and double check for any ants inside the bottle to ensure there is no cross contamination.It works, but it appears the ants are not attracted to the contents. It seems like it is hoping to get a curious scout to enter and return to the nest.

I brought these because I started to have ants on my kitchen counters. I wanted something that would kill the ants and work longer than 30 days. This product is suppose to work for 6 months. So I purchased it. I put two traps out on my kitchen counters, and the next morning, NO MORE ANTS!! Fantastic!! I did not think it would work so quickly, but it did. And the best part, no mess, no spray, and no smell. This is the best ant killer product that Raid has ever come out with. Now, the real test will be to see if these traps work for six months. I am just happy that there are no more ants. Would highly recommend this product for purchase.
