Q: Is this mattress treated with any anti-tick or anti-bacterial chemicals?

I have a traditional EMOOR futon and the stuffing has been treated with quaternary ammonium salt as the anti-tick and anti-bacterial agent. I assume this is similarly treated.

Q: Does this ship vacuum sealed?

This item is not vacuum sealed. You can spread and use it immediately and comfortably upon arrival. EMOOR JAPAN

Q: Is there foam in this?

Thank you for your inquiry. No foam is used inside. Two firmly pressed polyester fiberfill pads are inside as per the 5th picture on the page. EMOOR JAPAN

Q: Does this futon need to be sunned and if so how regularly?

I prop mine up against a chair once a week when I change the bedding. The sun shines on it some of that time. It seems fine. I’ve never taken it outside for sun or airing.
