Does this product filters Flouride

First of all our shower filter does not filter fluoride. Secondly, no shower filter in the universe can filter/remove/reduce fluoride. It is unfortunate that some sellers state that their shower filter removes or reduces fluoride knowing good and well that the customer has no means to prove this claim.

The truth is fluoride can not be removed from water with media (such as coconut shell carbon, KDF, calcium sulfite, vitamin-c, "energy crystals", "maifan stone", "magnetic energy ceramic balls", etc.). The only way to remove fluoride is through reverse osmosis systems. You would need to install a home point of entry reverse osmosis system along with storage tanks, pumps and loads of piping. The installation may be impractical as:
1) The system would be huge and need to be installed next to your mains water entry (impossible for flats)
2) If installed outside, you would need to protect this huge system from the weather with a shed 
3)  The place of installation will need a waste water connection and electricity
4) Your water bill will go up roughly 300%

If any seller states that their shower filter removes fluoride here are some things that you can do:
1) Ask for a test report from a verified third party lab for fluoride removal
2) Ask how their product removes fluoride and then fact check them with google
3) Threaten to report them to amazon for false advertising if they do not remove these claims from their listing

How long does a filter last before needing replacement?

Thank you for asking this question and please excuse my long reply.

There are many competitor shower filters that are being marketed as "15 stages" "18 stages" "20 stages". These types of shower filters put useless colored clay balls in their shower filter cartridge and give names to different colors such as "energy balls" "maifan stone" "vitamin c" etc. These useless clay balls are grouped together with what actually filters the water in their cartridge which is carbon, calcium sulfite and kdf. They do this so they can better market their product by making unrealistic, un-proveable claims.

The problem is, what actually filters the water has to give up 80% of the space inside the cartridge to these clay balls. Consequently, these filters have a very short lifetime, because they have fewer raw materials to filter the water. Usually, this length is 1-3 months depending on the quality of the incoming water supply.

We here at Aquablu only put carbon, calcium sulfite and KDF in our filter cartridges. All of these space inside of the filter cartridges is full only only these materials. When compared to these other falsely advertised shower filters, we have 5 times more lifetime. We rate our cartridges not only by time but also by amount used:
- 6 months
- 15,000 gallons
- 500 baths
- 1000 showers
- whichever happens first from the above list

- Generally speaking, our customers change their filters once every 6 months.

How long do the LED lights last? Do you have replacements or do you have to replace the whole shower head?
