Just what the doctor ordered. Easy to use covers for Weck jars. Good seal for in the fridge.

Great for when using the jars as containers rather than for conserving. We found the glass lids fiddly and vulnerable (have broken 2) whereas the whole family can use these lids safely.

With the little 220 ml jars (which these do not fit, btw), these lids allow you to use them as yogurt jars, for example, where the glass lids would not work in a yogurt maker.But why, when the jars are mostly sold in packs of 6 or 12, are these sold in packs of 5? For my 6 jars, I have to buy 2 packets, then have 4 left over.. The other sizes are available with Prime delivery, so you have to pay double for 2 packs. With these, with separate postage, I realised after ordering one, that you don't pay double for 2 packs - only another 18p postage is added for the 2nd. So if you need multiple packs, buy them together..These are very well made, but are LDPE, very cheap plastic, so over £1 each seems a bit excessive, even considering postage. For my 12 x 220 ml jars, I will need 3 packs, for nearly £15 - the same price as the jars with glass lids! It's same for the seals, which come in packs of 10.They come in 3 sizes: these 100 mm ones, 80 mm and 60 mm, and you need the same size as the seals for your jars. These are not actually 100 mm, the diameter is 110 mm, and the rim is 8.5 mm deep, but they fit jars that take 100 mm seals.They close snugly, and give a good seal, but also come off relatively easily, so would not be suitable, say, for transporting anything in the jars, unless you maybe secure them with the clips. Don't know if that works.. will test it when I get some clips. Suppose you could always use tape to secure them. The shallow rim is dictated by the design of the jars, so the fit is as good as it can be.I really like these, but I've deducted a star for the 5 pack issue, and the relatively high price - as you have to buy more (or less) than the number of your jars, it becomes an expensive accessory!

Perfect. And the lids fit my smaller and larger bowls. So convenient. New convert to Weck containers.

Once you have opened your jar, whatever is in it, these lids are very practical for keeping them conveniently sealed. You could use the rubber seals and clips, but they are rather fiddly and only really intended for the preserving part of the jars' function. They are best washed by hand as they might pick up colour from sauces or other things in the dishwasher (although having said that, the one that did lost the colouration after 24 hours). The only odd thing is that Weck jars come in packs of 6, and these only come in packs of 5!

Compared to the glass lid with silver clips that comes with weck jars, this is a much better fit. No more fiddling and getting the rubber rings just right!

Just the right size on a 600ml wide orichio style Weck jar to store the coffee duck and filters for the senseo coffee machine in, next to the coffee on the work top ! Lovely quality lids.

Good seal, but a shame I had to buy five.

Se adaptan y cierran muy bien. Se limpia bien el plástico, no es de esos que cogen grasa. Te permite dar más usos a los tarros. Imprescindibles para mí.
