WB Socks Cotton Rich Anti-DVT Flight Socks - Black - Small UK Shoe sizes 3-6

These are much better than the one's that were prescribed for me! They stay on place and as I only have to wear one. I always have a clean one to replace it with. Comfortable as you can't really feel it but it does it's job which is the main thing. Also reasonably priced.

Wasn't sure what size to get - normally I buy socks much larger than my feet so they don't restrict my toes. I got my own size and they are fine (but will be careful to wash them at 30 C just in case they shrink). But currently there is plenty of toe space. Have got them not as flight socks but to help with swollen legs and they are really good for that (am using an extra piece of tubular bandage folded several times over my foot as that needed more compression). They are better than the medical ones (and cheaper) as the compression at the ankles is better and they are also relatively easy to get on and off (with the medical ones they were difficult to get on but almost impossible to get off if my legs had swollen a bit). One pair had a tight thread around my calf which connected down towards my toes and was a bit uncomfortable, but this eased during the day and is now fine.

Although these flight socks are a little large ( size 3 to 6) this is normal with all manufacturers........if you are size 3 you have to put up with it. Having had DVT I now wear these all the time. These were a great find for me, comfortable cotton, stays fresh all day, and not too tight as some flight socks are. I am able to turn down the tops which is another bonus, arthritic hands prevent me from doing this with others that are far too tight. I have bought and tried many flight socks, for me these are the best, 4 stars was because they are a little large, but as Ive said all manufacturers do the same, they all forget that, small does really mean small. These are a good product at a very reasonable price.

When I read other reviews about these socks saying that they weren't firm enough to be effective as flight socks, but were fine for normal wear since they didn't slip down during wear I decided to buy them to use as everyday socks. I agree with the reviews about their unsuitability as flight socks, they definitely aren't firm enough.They're OK for normal wear, although I was a bit disappointed because they do tend to slip down as the day progresses.

Well I didn't get a DVT - not that this proves much.When I first put these socks on I was surprised at how non-restrictive they felt, and was worried that this meant they would not work. Despite this, by the end of the 9 hour flight my feet were not at all swollen. By comparison - I forgot these on a second, shorter flight a few weeks later and my feet were swollen after 3 hours.These were very comfortable, and sit just below the knee. Do not be put off by comfort - they do work!

This is the 2nd or third time that I have bought this for my life. She suffers a lot while travelling on long flights as at times she has been pregnant and this would really help her. She wouldn’t fly without it. And she loves this one due to its soft material which doesn’t irritate her sensitive skin.Reason to buy it multiple times as she has lost it once and other time I got this for my mother-in-law. So really recommend it.

Used for flying with restless legs. They worked great. No leg issues at all.

These are by far the most comfortable anti-DVT socks I have owned to date. My previous ones have all been made out of nylon, which; a) can get smelly, b) can get cold, and c) not comfortable in the long run.I really appreciate the fact that these are made out of a cotton-mix, are not too tight (other similar products have been painfully tight around my calves), and are large enough size-wise. Being a UK size 5.5, I worried that ordering a size small (UK 3-6) would mean these could potentially be just a tad too small, but I am very glad I ordered the recommended size as I do find it accurate and perfect for my feet.The only reason I have not given these 5/5 stars is that after a bit of walking, they tend to slide down, which in my opinion somewhat defeats the purpose. The first time I wore mine was on a long-haul flight with overlays, and while I was fine during the long flights, I did notice that I had to pull them up several times during the overlay where I did quite a bit of walking.Please let me know if you found my review useful by indicating below.
