However, frustratingly, the pack that I received isn’t the Waddingtons one that was advertised. Instead it’s an official CFC set that features the club crest on the back of each card, but with generic card faces rather than any photographs.

No issues from what I see cards was packaged up new. Have been brought for a stocking filler for a Chelsea fan friend of mine.

I bought these as a stocking filler for my young son, knowing that he’d enjoy the photographs of famous recent(ish) Chelsea players. However, frustratingly, the pack that I received isn’t the Waddingtons one that was advertised. Instead it’s an official CFC set that features the club crest on the back of each card, but with generic card faces rather than any photographs. In fairness, they do seem reasonably good quality and include a hologram to confirm they’re authentic CFC merchandise, but they’re not what I ordered, so I’ll be asking for a refund.
