I love it honestly. I feel that I can breathe again when I'm out on the water. This kayak is very stable but HUGE.Because of the odd shape of the wider hull, I highly recommend using bungee cords instead of straps to secure it to your kayak cart. This way, as it slides it gets pulled back into place. Or you could put additional padding on the cross racks on your kayak cart.Because of the handles on the kayak, if you're using those soft strap on racks for your car roof, make sure you put some padding under the handles so they don't dent your car when you tighten the straps.Keep in mind too, if you're a new kayaker, this kayak is built more for stability than speed. It is going to go a LOT slower than the kayaks with pointed ends, but it's a lot harder to top. If you were going for fast, get one of the ones that's pointed instead. Good luck, and make sure you wear your pfd!!P.s. the kayak does not come with wooden plank flooring. I added that on. 👌

Just got to finally go out and try out my pelican catch, its light but dont fool your self and get a cart for transport. It was very easy to maneuver around the lake, and ive never sat in a kayak before, so far it seems very durable and for the cost its a nice entry level kayak. Im addicted.

i got lucky when i chose this kayak before doing thorough research. its wide, so its hard to tip. the chair is cozy, the foot rests are great. the only thing i have added are a track mount paddle holder, and some eye bolts so i can secure it to the top of my car. WORTH THE MONEY!

So far I love my Catch Mode 110. The kayak has lots of room. I mean so much that my 8yr old was able to sit in front of me and paddle while I was in the seat. It's fairly stable, not as stable as I was expecting, but stable enough to be comfy while sitting. Standing can be tricky. I'm 5' 5" and feel like I need about another 3 inches in width to stand comfortably. You do have to be aware when standing or when sitting on the folded seat. Though I am just getting back into kayaking so maybe it's just my need to get used to it again. I'm not going to bore you with pics of the kayak, but I will give you one of my son paddling in front of me to show the room it has. There is only one center handle and only one track on each side for accessories. I do wish it had more handle points and more tracks, but you can add them as you wish. The only real bad was that it took a very long time to be delivered, about a month, and after it was delivered there was a huge gouge in the side. Since it didn't break through to the hollow, I didn't make a big deal about it. There was no other damage as some of the reviews have stated. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

Hear me out on this one. Took a month for the kayak to arrive after I ordered it. When it arrived the packaging was in shambles and the skeg (rudder) was broken. I tried contacting Pelican but their website said the serial number I had was invalid. I tried calling (x4) and each time after about 18 minutes the elevator music would stop and the phone would hang up.All that said, I contacted Amazon customer service on Wednesday and by Friday I had a new kayak. Intact and pristine. Best customer service ever! Pelican will never get my business after this but I'm in for the long haul with Amazon!

Loved the amount of space you get. Its not quite as stable as some of the videos would have you believe. I did manage to tip it when I ran into a log hanging tree. And sitting on the top of the chair makes it a little top heavy and I wasn't convinced of its stability doing that, so I stayed sitting in the chair.All that being said, it was pretty light. I haven't tried lifting it by myself yet, but had not problems putting on top of the car with a friend to help. Has lots of room to store stuff, and overall, I found it easy to fish in.

It’s light and easy to carry and maneuver. Major complaints Rutter is weak almost useless and very cheap plastic where the Rutter is connected to the kayak. No place for dry storage , scupper plugs, not connected anywhere on the boat so if they come out, you will likely lose them.If you’re looking for a very basic fishing kayak, this is ok.
