Sturdy and robust - really happy
these are great - sturdy and tough. Far better than the thin, flimsy and soft ones provided in boot kits by Febi !

Cv boot joint clips
Really strong clips and as good as the manufacturer type. A cv boot joint had come loose and got bent on the drive shaft. Replaced with one of this set. Checked after 1000 miles and still exactly as fit. Great item set and good price too.

Not jubilee
The clamps are possibly very good but a slight oversight on my part made me get these without realising the issue I would immediately face upon their arrival. You need special pliers to crimp them together tightly. Yes I know I could try other tools but that's often met with several failures before achieving a good result and that's just false economy. They are stainless steel and are quite sharply cut at the edges, they certainly don't have rolled/raised angle edges to prevent cutting into the rubber like several of the hose clips I have used in the past.If you have the tool then these are reasonably priced for a small quantity but as I say I cant tell if they work because I don't yet have the tool to test them.

Easy
Really easy to fit and the tool is a must. Re-fit my driveshaft boot with ease.

Straps break
Tools not really up to the job and clips are easily broken. Couldn’t get any of them to hold and tighten sufficient to hold the CV boot, too tight and they snap.

Good quality
A nice double set of CV clips, if like me you have a classic car that's used heavily you'll not be new to rebuilding CV's. I've been through a good few and I'm happy to report these seem the higher end of the quality scale. A word or warning with these you ideally need a set of CV clip pliers, they crush and squeeze the square portion on the clip to really tighten the clip on the boot. You can do it with some cut off pliers but be careful and the end result is sometimes not the best. When have a great range of size I always cut the excess that I don't need off to help make the job a little neater. The teeth on these clips are nice and large and strong so engaged well on the opposing holes.Good product that I'll more then likely need to reorder in the future.

Cheap
Had one of these fitted prior to MOT. After minimal use, a few miles, it had broke/come off when the car was MOTd.
