I thought it hung sideways like a normal flag. It's up and down
I wanted to be able to hang it horizontal but it's only vertical.It is high quality. I had to find an old flag pole to attach it to. It gets tangled on my porch railings, though. Possibly I didn't read the descriptions well.

Came in with colors bled
