No backlashes
No Backlashes! It is by far the best baitcaster I have ever owned. I paid twice as much for a different baitcaster, and it was a piece of junk. Shimano knows Fishing Ball Bearings and Bicycle components

Smoothest baitcaster for the money
Centrifugal brakes and smooth winding make this the best baitcaster for the money, by far. That being said, I bought a lews for like 50 bucks that does everything this one does just slightly less refined. Spent the money I saved on some summer top water lures and I’ve never been happier

Terrible
Went to use this reel and a local lake and every single cast had a big birds nest. It got so bad a had to take the spool out to get the line off. Would not get this product.
