I purchased the 6pcs Orthopedic Bed Wedge Pillow Set (white and grey), Black Friday Weekend, prior to my Rotator Cuff surgery. The grey set only comes in 4 pcs. which was not enough pillows for me. When I unboxed the set, I left the pillows sitting out for 3 days to ensure they completed expanded to normal size. I was pleasantly surprised that the pillows did not smell like a warehouse. None the less, I did decide to wash the covers. There are no washing or care instructions for the pillow protectors, therefore, I chose to wash on gentle cycle and dry low heat. I washed them by themselves as I did not want anything to happen to the protectors. I did a little searching on Amazon and Google and found that no one sells extra protectors nor covers for the pillows. I do understand why no covers, the anti-slip portion of the protectors. They would be covered and useless in a pillowcase.I used a modified version of setup number 8, using the second half circle for lumbar support. I used this setup for about 8 weeks after surgery. The large half-moon pillow did slide when getting into bed, and a little during the night. Most of the pillows held up to the stress. I did find a little uneven pressure on the pillow I used for legs. This may have been from how I got into position at night and/or my one leg being heavier when I sleep. I believe I washed the protectors a total of 5 times (including initial out of the box and final before vacuum sealing the cushions). Overall, the covers did stand up well, even with the slip setup I had to sleep in after surgery. There was some pillowing on the lumbar pillow from the sling and the leg pillow from friction. I currently do not see myself using these for the rest of my recovery but will store in the event I need for future use.The 2 vacuum seal bags that come with the set had no instructions on use. Though I had previously never used a vacuum seal bag I knew the principle. The bags feel flimsy to me. I was concerned I would rip the bags while getting the pillows into them. I put all the half circle pillows (3) in one bag and the other pillows (3) in the other bag. The sealing clips gave me a little trouble and one popped off (but was easily put back on once I found it). I was able to remove all the air with my vacuum cleaner. Be careful when screwing the cap back onto the bag as even light pressure on the 'nozzle' portion of the bag can let some air in. I do like how small the pillows get in the vacuum seal bags when you get all the air out. I am hopeful they will store well in bottom of my closet. Time will tell.Overall, I am happy with the purchase. The 6pcs Orthopedic Bed Wedge Pillow Set did a good. I would definitely suggest to friends to consider the set.

I got a deformed shipment for one of the pieces. It was the capstone piece. It arrived shrunken and not able to inflate. Usually, I could just send the product back but all of these are shrinkwrapped together. I spoke to the customer service agent and explained I couldn't send the (6) items back because they had plushed up. She had me take a photo of the defective part and authorized a new shipment. The product is great. If a piece comes deformed, no big deal. Contact Amazon, take a photo, they will replace it. I looked at all the one-star reviews. It was the same issue I had. I was frustrated, too. They did fix it for me with no extra cost and it took a few days. No Big Deal.

Just received today. All seems as pictured. Couple pieces had hard foam spots that didn't fully inflate.And leg piece completely hard and did not inflate at all.Here's what I did- for spots not inflated I gently pulled and manipulated foam with cover on,as soon as it pulled apart so to speak it inflated. I took leg piece out of cover and little more pulling,manipulating and it eventually filled to correct size.Up coming back surgery,so looking forward to using. I do think the memory foam may need to be firmer.

I recently had abdominal surgery and this set was so helpful for sleeping after I got home. It’s very comfortable to use. Closest thing to the actual hospital bed positions that I have found. The wedge for the legs is amazing. My only suggestion is, if you know you will be having surgery. Order them early as they are very very compressed and takes a bit to fully extend. I also love that they send 2 vacuum bags so they can be stored easily when not n use. Great value.

I have an adjustible bed for my back at home and I sleep in a Zero G position, but when I go camping I have to try and construct something with pillows in the camper bed and it’s never great. My wife found this on Amazon and it’s seriously a huge game changer. No more back pain and I can enjoy our camping trips. I can’t say enough good things about these things. Highly recommend, very soft and comfortable yet firm enough to support you when you sleep.

Comes in a small pkg - when opened -- increases in size -- looks good! Firm and looks like good quality!

These pads are good, firm support, good number of pieces, removable covers. One of the reasons I chose this set was the two vacuum bags for storage. These are an epic fail! First only one came with a closer (not a returnable offense) but niether one will hold the vacuum. I tested both by suctioning out the air, ensuring the seal was solid, and waited. Within 5 minutes one of the bags could be heard expanding. The other took about 45 minutes but it too is not holding the seal. I can’t tell if the bags have pin holes or the leak is at a seam. They are not apparently leaking from the sealing edge. Can’t decide if I am going to keep or not. Maybe the seller will offer new bags?

It was helpful after a 360 lower body lift, however, if you have the extra money to shell out for an adjustable bed instead, I would recommend doing that. I wish I had. It seems a whole lot easier than fixing these things every day or throughout the night, especially if you’re already uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. All that moving around in order to get comfortable isn’t ideal either.If you are on a budget, however, stop looking and get this. This is a really good set. You need to give it about two days to fully inflate and make sure that it isn’t stacked/covered at all or else it won’t inflate.
