Not too bad of a purchase. For the price I got 2 years out of it. Go figure it only has a 1 year warranty. I'll be purchasing handles with a lifetime warranty next!

Your going to need to use an existing part from your original
This is my 2nd one in a year and a half. The handle itself is pretty sturdy but plan on using your original rod clip, my last handle the clip was brittle cheap thin plastic and this one was broken in two pieces when i opened it i used the existing clip both times. The handle works for a cheap fix but you will have to swap the original clip over

Didnt need it but I'll explain the whole thing.
My door handle had been giving me fits for some time so I ordered this. I took the door apart and found that the problem wasn't the handle at all, it. The retaining bolt closest to the latch mechanism had fallen out and the pressed in nut on the other side had come loose. Also because of the extra wear of the handle being loose the large rod retainer clip had worn badly. There wasn't really anything wrong with the original handle. The new handle is plastic and the old handle is chrome metal so I elected to clean up the old one and re-use it. I cleaned the door latch mechanism and relubed it and glued the pressed on nut into place in the handle. Then I took the new clip off the new handle and used it on the old. I used a dab of Loctite on the bolts so maybe they wont fall apart for another 325000 miles. It took around an hour to get everything apart and back together. The door works perfect and I'll save the new handle in case of emergency. It's really cheaply built compared to the original bot it might last a while if needed.
