Works for Brocade IXC 7250, but you still need a USB->Serial (COM) adapter
Works perfectly with my ICX 7250-48P, but note that this is only half of what you need. You need a USB to serial (DB9 COM) cable with the proper circuitry, and you connect *that* to this cable. USB from the serial cable goes to your PC, and mini USB from this cable goes to your switch. The mini USB port on brocade switches is *not* USB, it just uses the same physical connector, so this double cable solution (or a more expensive single purpose-made cable with the proper chip) is necessary.

Perfect cable for Brocade switches (such as ICX7250) with a USB console port
Works great with the serial console on the Brocade ICX7250. Presents a female DCE DB9 interface. I use a StarTech GC98MF (DB9M to RJ45F) adapter to connect a standard Cisco-compatible RJ45 console cable to the MTUERANC's DB9F port.StarTech GC98MF (DB9M to RJ45F) adapter is wired as follows:DB9 (M DTE) -- RJ458 -- CTS -- 1 (blue)6 -- DSR -- 2 (orange)2 -- RXD -- 3 (black)NC -- GND -- 4 (red)5 -- GND -- 5 (green)3 -- TXD -- 6 (yellow)4 -- DTR -- 7 (brown)7 -- RTS -- 8 (white)RJ45 pins 4 and 5 are both signal ground; only one needs to be connected. The Brocade doesn't need the hardware handshake signals, but I connected them anyway.

Didn't work for Brocade ICX 7250
Tried it on a Brocade ICX 7250, nothing. Tried a different Brocade console cable, worked fine, so cable isn't wired correctly. Returning it.

DE6600 Infiniband/FC does not work
Not really this cables fault, but just FYI this will not work for the NetApp DE5600 or DE6600 series infiniband or fiber channel EMMs. Also that would apply to the MD3060 possibly if they have an IB/FC option as well.

Did not work for me. I wanted to hook my Garmin 64. To my home patrol 2 scanner. The scanner doesn’t recognize the GPS unit.

Works well with Brocade 7450
Was like $9 USD and works just great. Don't forget you will still need an RS-232 on your computer or a USB-RS232 converter in addition to this cable.
