This is not lose tea as the description says. This is GROUND Assam, often known as Mangalam Assam. It's not wrong as some other sophisticated tea drinkers reviewers say (sarcasm implied). They just have a limited experience with teas, obviously. So, what you will get here is small round pellets like medium ground coffee. This gives the Assam a malty and strong flavor and should be served with milk. You can also brew this for less time then other black teas because of the greater surface area. You can also make iced tea with this, but it will be strong and slightly bitter. If you're looking for black tea served hot without milk, then pick another brand that is whole leaf. Brewing this tea for the normal 5 minutes makes a very (VERY) strong tea. *Cheers and enjoy*

It could have been fresher! But it is a great tea!

I've made a half-dozen mug fulls with this tea in the last few days,......I'm satisfied so far, does seem to make a full-bodied, robust cup of tea.

Average strength black tea - nothing special here. Calling this "Extra Strong" is a misnomer.

Good flavor and it doesn’t take much tea or much time to get a great level of tannins.

I did not like this tea at ALL, not have any flavor,and it come ground, wich it is wrong for a tea drinker ,who know tea quality,I Buy this Indian Tea ,because rating were good,but now I know better,dont believe in the ratings no more.NEVER AGAIN BUY INDIAN TEA MAYSELF.

Not bad for the price. Wish its flavor and aroma is stronger. I may buy it again since the price is low. I used it for milk tea in the morning. I have to mix it with another tea that is stronger to get the flavor I want.
