When working at elevated heights, OSHA (and common sense) requires that you use fall protection. Typically I've used the bungee type lanyards that are one-time use. These are likewise only meant to arrest one fall but I've never used a retractable lanyard such as this. I'm going to use it as a secondary fall-protection until I am more familiar with it but it seems very well made. It's heavy and feels very sturdy. For the quality and price I am happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very well-made safety catch system. The items are of good quality material and metal fasteners. One still needs the safety harness. This unit must be reset after its triggered.

I wasn’t about to jump off my roof to see if it will save me, but in pulling on it, it appears to be strong and will arrest a fall well. The clips are strong so they won’t give out before the rest of the cable. Definitely a good idea for house work on a ladder or in trees.

The carabiners are large and simple to hook in with, and the swivel on the device provides very good flexibility when wearing, so you're not constantly getting tangled up or caught on something while using. The product is plenty durable to handle my weight (about 230lb) and gives me a lot of confidence while wearing.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

This is a solid, heavy weight product. It was easy to figure out and adjust to fit.

I got this to go with a safety harness my husband has for work and he says this looks like it's a high quality piece of gear. It has a nice weight to it, all stitching is straight and reinforced so he gave it the thumbs up.
