Didn’t work as described

We're full-time RVers with two black tanks. We had them both hydro-cleaned back about 6-months ago (cost: $275 + camp site fees). The sensors worked for about 3 months and then started misreading again. I heard about this product, but was dubious, so I bought 3 bottles. We followed the instructions: 1) drained / rinsed Black Tank #2, 2) Added Sensor Cleaner treatment (1/2 bottle for the treatment), 3) filled the tank with 35 gallons of water via tank rinse system (used garden hose flow meter), and 4) let it set for 3.75 days. We used Black Tank #1 while we let Black Tank #2 "clean". When I drained it, Black Tank #2 was reading "E" for the first time in months. No additional rinsing was needed. I was very shocked to see it work so well. (Cost: $24 for both tanks + camp site fees). This product is well worth it!Note: If your system is heavily "slugged", then you might need to rinse it up to 3 times. If it is still misreading, treat it a second time following the process.

Works as advertised.

Product accomplishes as advertised however, your tank must be flushed with clean water to remove sludge stuck to the bottom of the tank. No, you won’t be able to get all of the sludge out however, after filling the tank 1/3 again with fresh water and adding the cleaner , the cleaning action works best when you drive your rig around for a couple of hours before again dumping and flushing the tank. It may take several applications if your sensors have been malfunctioning for some time. So, each time you go on an outing, take time to go through this process. Caution—- using your black tank on your outings with the cleaner causes sludge to build up on the bottom of the tank. I have a 1 year old RV trailer and was shocked at the amount of sludge setting on the bottom of the tank after a dozen outings, even though I always dumped and flushed. Never leave your black tank dry when not in use.

We used this product in our RV several times. Our black tank sensor never cleared completely but it did seem to help a bit. After several treatments, the black tank is showing full again. Definitely not perfect but seemed to help for a bit.

The black water tank sensors started to misread the tank levels. Tried this product and it cleaned up the sensors. Have to pre-plan the use of this product. Directions say to pour it in and add water then drive around for 20 minutes which is totally unreasonable. After camping, we dumped our tank, drove home, followed the directions and drove around town for a while. Totally irritated to have to do that but at least it worked.

This product did nothing to remedy the issues I had with my tank sensors. The old Vinegar and baking soda method solved it though. Any cleaner will work when moving down the road as the agitation does most of the work. Unfortunately the claim is that it will work when you are not moving. Neither this or the unique tank cleaner worked for me. I started using the Unique tank treatment and am not impressed as that's when my problems started. In all honesty I have never had tank or sensor issues using CAMCO TST which I have used since 2012 and which I switched back to. So why did I switch in the first place? Well everyone said Unique is super, fantastic, wonderful and terrific. I guess my tanks think otherwise and no issues since switching back..

I never do this.Facts:45 gallon marine tankDigital gauge, 4.5 years oldGauge stuck 27% no up, no downEmptied tank, added 16 oz. of material and filled tank. Read 85. Windy waves rocked boat. Pumpout after 72 hours .. read zero. The final few gallons of poowater were BLACK, not brown. BLACK and grainy. I saw digital readouts (numbers) I have never seen. I thought the gauge was not linear. 0,16,27,35,55,70,85. No .. there are 10,13,15 .. it's reading.In short, this stuff works. I haven't seen the gauge read above 85 yet but I will use the rest of this stuff when I leave the boat for two weeks. We'll see. Maybe it reads 100.

This product fixed or problem. Followed the directions and worked properly

Not sure used on both my black tank and my grey tank as both were not reading correctly. After treatment black tank worked but grey tank still not working. Have since done a revers flush on both tanks and senors are all good in both tanks now.

Took a while to get here, but it worked really well in the black tank

Tries it left it for 4 days came back to the same result. Definitely not worth the money. Very disappointed with this product!
