It works
Using this with an M1 Mac mini (2020).Previously, not having enough connectivity led me to buy a couple of USB-C hubs (one SSK B093247D2N which has 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A and another no name which has 4 USB-C).Despite getting the required extra connectivity, I found drives and devices dropping offline - seemingly randomly. For example, Time Machine drives would work but be offline next time I looked. Quite obviously, it wasnāt that there was anything wrong with the actual drives.Did some reading around and realised it was likely power delivery to the hubs and devices. I did get a particular arrangement of drives (and other devices) and socket usage that worked but if ever I changed anything, I was likely to have to go through multiple permutations before I found a combination that would continue to work.Reading around the internet, it appeared that there might be an issue with power available at each USB socket.Decided to get a powered USB-C hub. But even that wasnāt straightforward as I wanted one without fancy things like Ethernet or HDMI or card reader capability. Just dead simple - power to the USB-C sockets. Already have multiple USB-C charger/power supplies.Set this Aceele device up and it has now worked flawlessly for about a week. Not long to be sure, but not a single disconnection.Have now also connected the other USB hubs to this Aceele device in a cascade - and everything I have tried so far works just fine. Including a new Time Machine SSD drive.Iāve done absolutely nothing to test or check speeds. They donāt really matter to me. I have a simple set up and, so long as when I do something it doesnāt appear to take long, I am happy. Iād notice if anything were really slow but probably not any difference between 5 and 10 GB.The relatively long cable is very much appreciated. Avoids having to fiddle around right behind the computer except when plugging it in. My other USB-C hubs have something like 10cm cables which are terribly short.

A good unit with some minor issues
A very compact little usb hub. Pass through works well. External hard drives run at full speed without transfer errors. External nvme drives in a caddy are not always recognised first time but work well once recognised, usually have to reboot twice for them to be seen.

Not working
Bought this item thinking it would be great. However the item does not work as my phone was unable to charge from it at all just kept saying charging unavailable. Tried two different plugs and adapters and nothing. Used an old docking station which I have gone back too. Complete waist of time and money. Hoping for a refund or can I return.

Perfect for my mac mini
There are not too many options for just a 4 port USB-C hub. This being powered makes it the best choice i could find in all my searching.Works great to extend the ports on my mac M1 Mini 2020. As one of the 2 USB ports is tied for 2nd monitor I found this the best option as a full USB-C dock with HDMI seemed a bit overkill for me.

Small, lightweight, and has worked without issue so far
Light and small enough to stick to the underside of shelf above my computer with alientape without issue. Even though this isn't what I thought it was (I thought it was the hub+2.5gbit ethernet adapter), it's a good hub, and will replace the hub function of my current hub+1gbit ethernet adapter).Of course, it's hard to really assess a hub this soon. Typically my problem with hubs has been the astonishingly short lifetime, rarely exceeding 6 months, sometimes failing within weeks. So time will tell.Have yet to test with vUSB devices; I am assuming this will be unsuccessful as usual with USB3 stuff

Works with Linux, slim and compact
No issues so far, very slim and compact but with good port spacing to ensure ports aren't blocked by fat cables or thumb drives. Has power input port as well to power the hub/devices if needed.

Best USB Hub I've Ever Had
It easily connects through one of the two USB 3.0 ports at the back of my new computer, because it's handy to hook up my Samsung T7 and Asus ZenDrive V1M.
