This connectors are a must for every DIY home network toolbox, it allows easy to troubleshoot and just quickly fix a bad connector before taking the whole kit. They work good and can be used to leave in place if you want, or just take them off when you have the time to properly fix the connection.

This item has been with me for a very short time.I recently ordered the PBAEGAV RJ45 Connector Tool-Free, CAT6A Field Termination Plug Gold Plated because I needed to upgrade my home network setup. After doing some research, I found that this particular connector is top-notch in terms of performance and durability. The tool-free design makes installation easy, saving me time and hassle. Plus, the gold-plated connectors provide a reliable connection with minimized interference for faster data transfer speeds. These plugs do work and I tend to keep a few tool-less style in my bag for one-off quick fixes when I don't have my crimper on me or I don't have time to grab my tools. The included copper foil is pointless in my opinion as you are supposed to use the internal foil of the UTP cable for proper shielding. While these are cheaper than Hubbell, Leviton, etc tool-less this is also an unknown brand and there are similar off-brand tool-less rj45 on Amazon with a lower cost per unit. Keep in mind that this type of RJ45 plug is bulky so you likely will not be able to use these for the majority of IP cameras that have a weather resistant plug compression cover/boot (sony, panasonic, hikvision, etc). This is where I have seen many people buying these tool-less plugs thinking it is easier to deal with while on a ladder only to find out that it doesn't fit. So just make sure to not go buy a ton of these before verifying this will literally fit your need. This type plug is often used in industrial automation areas but if you are working in an industrial market you are likely looking at the brand name options due to the cost of downtime. Just my two bits but as I said, these are functional and have tested out accordingly with a full Fluke cable certification tests when complete in my testing but these were put in specifically for the fact of testing out the plugs and it was a quick fix without wasting 20 minutes to get my toolkit and have another 20+ pounds of equipment to carry along with my laptop and other needs.

It works great and I love that there are no tools required.

These are a great entry point into the creating ethernet cables game, but it doesn't totally take away the frustration of creating your own cables. While I didn't need a crimping tool, I still needed to see and move small wires, which often times don't end up in the right spot. Overall, that is a user issue, not a device issue - this delivered on the promise to provide a crimp-free ethernet cable experience!

All metal terminations are key for high end network connections.These are high quality termination points that come with the metal wraps for shielding. The took some getting used to as I historically punched down my connections, but they worked well.Love these.

These are handy for when you need a cable and don't have a crimper or other necessary tools. You will still need a wire stripper for these. I took off two stars because1. there are no instructions included2. there are adhesive strips of copper included, but 4/6 of them seem to have come loose and crumpled in on themselves, making them useless - if they are supposed to even be used for something (given there are no instructions).
