i built a PC and i work from home, staying connected to the internet at all times is very important fore me. more importantly is making sure that my PC stays on and does not randomly shut off at any moment, causing me to lose all unsaved workthis product helps protect against that from happeningunlike a laptop that has a built in battery, a PC does not, so if your home power goes out, that's it. it's game over. your entire PC shuts down with your power, no running off battery, no nothinghowever, if you plug your PC into this product, then if your power goes out, you're pretty much safe. at least for 5-10 minutesjust today i was working and then randomly the electricity went out in my apartment. all my appliances shut off around me. this doesn't happen often, maybe like once a year. when this did happen, my computer was still running and i was still connected to the internet. everything was shutting off around me, yet i was still able to continue working on my PC as if nothing was happeninga couple of minutes go by, and the electricity turns back on. i didn't even notice it was gone because i was so focused on worknot only does this keep my PC powered on during outages, my internet stays on too. i didn't lose internet at all, everything was continuing to run smoothlyas i've mentioned before though, this power only lasts about 5-10 minutes if you've got a PC plugged in. the PC draws quite a bit of power, so this back up battery can't last much long. but the point of me using this in the first place is so that if power gets interrupted, i have a back up that can bridge the gap. the outages i get last only a couple of minutes. i just need protection during that random abrupt hit, i don't need protection for hoursthis product has served me well

This has worked flawlessly for me for a long time now and I'm finally around to giving it a review. It's handled spikes and outages and works like a champ. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone needing a UPS. It's display is easy to read and the availability shown is accurate. It has protected from spikes, from multiple pulses (power on off on off on...) and gives you warning before finally powering off. I've used it to run two computers and three monitors (one is a large tv) and it protects fine. In longer outages, it's run my computer on and off as needed - I've never tried to drain it fully, but it's run 30 minutes and had power to spare. I'll buy another when I need to replace it.

This is well worth the price, which by the way is a real bargain. Very heavy unit. It has a full hour and a half back up time in the event of a power outage. Plent of time to log off your computer or to continue watching the weather on your tv during severe times. The unit has five outlets for surge and battery backup as well as five outlets for surge protection only. Friends, this is extremely inexpensive insurance to protect your expensive electronics. This unit is priced about $60.00 or more below similar units from the competition. With the same power.

We installed a WiFi network at my place of business and were looking for multiple UPS's for each of our switches and WiFi Access Points. When looking for what device would work best I came across this Amazon Branded piece of equipment. The price was fair and I really like their, "Backed by an AmazonBasics limited 1-year warranty, including the battery; $75,000 connected equipment guarantee" - the last bullet in the description.This warranty is a joke. We had a power surge in our building and most of the UPS's worked as intended, however there was 1 that did not. All the equipment connected to it was fried after the surge and no longer works. Over $900.00 of equipment was destroyed (all of which was ordered from Amazon). I just wanted a credit I could, gift card, something! I had serial numbers and images of the equipment and everything. I immediately contacted customer support and told them that I wanted to submit an issue/claim under the "Backed by an AmazonBasics limited 1-year warranty, including the battery; $75,000 connected equipment guarantee."I had to continue to reach back out to Amazon Customer Support 3+ times, each time they told me someone would follow up with me within the next 3-5 business days on my warranty claim. I spent a total of 4-5 hours (spread out over multiple days) of my time emailing, chatting over the phone, sending pictures, chatting online and still nothing has happened. I have continually been ignored and have been given false promises of, "I will PERSONALLY call you back on (x) date to follow up with you on this issue." Then, after no phone call or follow-up, I would email them back, only to have a different person respond and tell me to call Amazon Customer Support (which means I would start from scratch and have to tell my story all over again and go through the same steps). The continuous false promises and disregard (whether intentional or not) is beyond frustrating - especially when you buy the device because of the warranty that is promised.I am a regular user of Amazon services, but I'm very disappointed with the way this situation was handled and I feel that I have wasted my time and have been ignored multiple times.Not a product I would recommend buying.

Not many things are as annoying as a quick power blink that causes your home network or video equipment to reset. That one-second outage causes 5 minutes or more of frustration waiting for everything to reset. I bought 2 of these, one for my smart TV in the living room and streaming device, the other for the home office to support the router and desktop computer. Just as easy to set up and use as other major brands. Definitely worth going with these to save significant cost of other major brands. I haven’t had a long-lasting outage since setting these up but they’ve saved me a lot of frustration already for several of those quick momentary outages during thunderstorms.

Just had our first power outage and while it was short this lil baby kept my wifi and computer running. I work from home and this saved me from losing my work.
