The Perfect XL Luggage
I love my new luggage! It has 2 zippered areas inside to hold your clothes so they won’t fall out when the luggage is open. So many companies only offer 1 side that can be zipped. I also ended up buying another one just like this except a different color. The luggage is perfect for a 3 week tour to the United Kingdom.

Lightweight with Smooth Spinner Wheels
With the new size restrictions of 22x14x9” for airline carryon luggage, I had to ditch my Delsey, which btw, I love; it has a depth of 10”. I researched if the 1” extra would be a problem on airlines and for every one of them, including foreign airlines, it was a solid yes. After reading so many reviews on Amazon and on the internet comparing lots of luggage, I decided on this Samsonite because of the company’s longstanding reputation. This carryon fits 22x14x9” airline standard. And yes, the 5lbs that it states in the description is pretty accurate. The shell is very lightweight and can be pushed in easily. I’m glad it’s a carryon and not going in the cargo hold; I’d be worried about heavier luggage being thrown on it and possibly cracking the shell. But maybe it won’t. In any case, it’ll be safe in an overhead bin.I bought the blue, and although I am generally not a fan of lighter blues, this has a metallic sheen that is very pleasing. The pull-up handle is pretty smooth with minimal wabble…there is always some give on these handles. The TSA lock works great. I read some reviews stating the bag came locked with no instructions. My advice, Google or YouTube it. I also saw some reviews saying the zipper pull on the lining at the bottom of the compartment was sewn in backwards. I Googled it! It’s supposed to be that way. Makes sense though, not only for repairs but the pull won’t get caught on clothing sitting against it.The carryon appears to have enough room for 3-4 days for clothing; I haven’t tried it yet. I will be traveling to Europe in June so I may do a follow-up to speak on the durability after being thrown in and out of a tour bus.But so far, and because of the Samsonite reputation, it’s a keeper.

Durability - NOT! - One wheel broke on second trip
Bought 3 of the large and 2 of the carry-on. One of the wheels broke on a large spinner on our second trip. I'm currently dealing with the airline to get it fixed (this is going smoothly so far) and attempted to order replacement wheel assemblies from Samsonite for any future issues but one of the most common broken parts on luggage isn't available for purchase from @mysamsonite . You have to drag the broken suitcase home, fill out a repair request, and send the luggage to them for evaluation to determine if they can replace the wheel with the same part they won't sell to you. this is @poorcustomerservice !

Extra large, no standard for most Airlines $75.00 extra charge on Caribbean Airlines
Product is larger than standard acceptable size for airline checked baggage; you will likely have to pay extra. I returned it and bought two smaller ones -62 linear inches is standard. This one is more like 66.

Samsonite Luggage, the best yet affordable.
Good build quality. Large carrying capacity yet light weight. Very smooth rollers make it easy to handle. We bought 2 of those and we can maneuver both with just one hand even when fully loaded. Excellent value for money.

Questionable.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I thought Samsonite would be worth the extra money to spend for a suitcase of this size and suppose quality.Size:31”Value for money:No. I was very disappointed. The suitcase seems rather flimsy and non-durable. The carry-on I have of the same model seems sturdier than this large suitcase. If I did not need the suitcase for an upcoming trip, I would return it.Durability:Given my uncertainty about the quality of this product, I am uncertain about its durability.
