If you want get HDR Dolby Vision quality, please make sure verizon fios box and TV supports HDR Dolby Vision firstly. And set their HDR same as splitter. Also, please check HDMI display resolution firstly, splitter copy the first HDMI output display device prior. HDMI input/ output cable should be HDMI 2.0 standard cable, input cable should be ≤15m (49ft) AWG26; output cable should be ≤25m (82ft) AWG26. Wish this is helpful to you. EZCOO

Q: Does this act as an endpoint for hdcp? if i don't have my tv turned on or connected, will my xbox one still agree to output hdcp content (for atmos)?

Hi Neb, I am not using it with a Xbox, however all that said it passes all HDCP and EIDI data. I tried a few other and it would not pass the HD Master audio and Dolby Mast HD audio. I did find that if you switch the very different type of EDID data streams you might have to power cycle the unit. But I have to do that very often. I hope I have answered your question
