i have owned my SM-58 since 1982 and have replaced the grille three times without any problem.. according to your product description, your grille should fit my SM-58 as well as my brand new Beta-58A.. this is the second grille you have sent, so i would like to return this one for refund so as to try another manufacturer's product.. i will stay in touch with you and let you know how it works out.. i hope to assist you if i may in determining how to improve the thread pattern on your grilles so they will function properly.. if you can correct what is wrong i would like to purchase from you in the future because i WOULD like to have a black grille

It "fit" on my SM58, but it doesn't screw on snugly for some reason. It's as if the threadding isn't deep enough or something.
