Useful parenting information, and not just for sport issues
As an educational psychologist and parent, I found this book very helpful. Dr. Fish gives practical, sound advice for handling situations with our children as they compete in various sports activities. I felt that his advice was applicable to many other areas of parenting as well, e.g. children's involvement in music, drama, arts, or even academic success. He gives excellent advice for monitoring our own fears, needs and hopes for our children and how to listen to their communication of their own, often very different experiences. Excellent book!

A Good Starting Point.!
I found this book very useful, it's an easy read and as the title suggested there is 101 short chapters! Covering all the area your sporting kids will come across (that I can think of any way!). Gave this 4 four stars as it could go into further detail at times and some of the point are obvious (maybe to me anyway!). Nevertheless, I have put some of the points in this book into practise successfully, would recommend.

Every sport parent should read
Bought this for a present for my daughter and son in law. With 3 active boys there is always something to learn.I read through and thought it had a lot of good insight in helping kids develop their skills ans feelings. Parents can learn it is not all about them. Should be promoted by local little leagues and sports teams.
