Getting the correct size is key. I did and find the hose fit well, offer very mild compression, stay up and don't not bind around the top. Although going by weight surely helps, in my case, my legs are sometimes badly swollen with edema causing them to measure 20" around the calf sometimes. I've been wearing regular mild compression knee highs for years to help with the swelling and it does--a lot--but lately my legs have been worse and at those times, the regular hose can be very binding and not come all the way uip to my knees because they are stretched so much. I use Dr. Motion and Futuro/mild. Neither of those come in any but 'average' size, which has worked fine in the past, but lately I've needed something bigger at least part of the time. These are a little bigger than I need in size 3X, but still they do the job and are comfortable for all day wear. They do not slip down at all, nor leave a bad indentation at the top where some hose roll a bit and cut in. I'm not a lot over the lower limit weight-wise for this size but am only 5'2" tall. When my legs get better again, I'll try the next lower size, but for now, this bigger size does help. The hose are sturdy and not prone to runs or tears, and can be worn several times before needing to go in the laundry.I suspect that those who find the hose slip down or are otherwise too big, have more normal sized legs so you should probably err on the side of going down a size if not sure.

The doctor said, "Get some support hose." I tried others, but I could not get them on. I bought these and I'm able to put them on by myself; they have just the strength that I need. I have washed them with my delicates and they come out perfect. I've worn them almost everyday, and there is not a run nor is the toe poked through (like I had happen in some others I had ordered).

Although these are long enough and plenty of stretch,the band at the top is narrow,cuts into the leg and hurts! Also the toe has a thick seam which is very uncomfortable. I wore them once and they got me through ... but won't wear or purchase again.

4 stars as they are a thicker hose which i wanted. I expect them to last longer than cheepo hoisery socks as they are better made. I wanted some compression as i am in health care. They do not have much compression and fit similar to a regular trouser sock. Though my legs are thinner than expected for a size 3xl. They stayed up all day and did not accrue any wear from my flats.

I have very large calfs/legs and am nearly 5'10''. I usually have a hard time getting socks to fit, even when I use their sizing charts. These Ladies Plus Size Queen support hose fit perfectly and provide me with the added compression that makes my legs feel better by wearing them. They do not dig into my knee area, nor do they slide down. If you order these support hose, make sure you check the sizing chart and determine size by your weight. These are just the right weight - not too heavy and not too light. You can feel their snug fit against your legs, but they don't feel binding or restrictive. I recommend them.

The band on this is wide but it seems like they made a small ring of the band really tight and it cuts off circulation. Tried to fold the band down but this it does not stay up.Too bad they did not weave the proper stretch in the whole band that would provide comfort as well as ensure these will stay up.

These fit perfectly for me - I ordered 3X (generally my clothing size also) and they were comfortable and did not slide down.Very light compression. They are thin, so I would recommend trimming any sharp toenails. The toes are reinforced, but the material is not thick.

Its my mistake. They are too loose. Like nylon stockings. Lolol. I kept them. I will order again. It was my mistake not Co.
