After having a bad experience with my previous security system, I was cautiously optimistic about trying this security camera system. I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant at first, especially after reading a few mixed reviews. But I decided to take the chance, and I’m really glad that I did!Right out of the box, the system felt well-built and thoughtfully packaged. During the initial setup, I did run into one issue: the internal hard drive wasn’t being recognized, which had me worried. However, I reached out to Hiseeu’s customer service, and they responded quickly with clear and helpful troubleshooting steps. I followed their guidance, and thankfully, the issue was resolved without much hassle.Once everything was up and running, I immediately noticed how much better this system was compared to my old one. The video quality is sharp and reliable, both during the day and at night. The remote viewing feature works flawlessly, giving me peace of mind when I’m away from home. Setup was straightforward, and the cameras connected easily to the NVR without any complicated configuration.What really impressed me beyond the product itself was the customer support — responsive, patient, and effective. That kind of support makes a huge difference when dealing with tech products.Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this system. It’s reliable, easy to use, and backed by a company that stands behind their product. I finally feel confident in my home security, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a dependable and affordable surveillance solution.

I wanted a security system that would offer good night viewing, record constantly and be stupidly simple to setup. This system delivers in all of those. I am not an expert in video stuff, but the actual images seem pretty close to what you would see on TV. As far as setup goes, you plug the thing in, plug in the cameras and it pretty much sets itself up. Realistically, you could take 30 minutes to remove stuff from the box, do setup and have a fully functional system. The instruction guide is fair, but there is some kid on Youtube who provides videos for this system that are terrific.

Fairly easy to set up. Place all cameras near DVR, so there're recognized by system before installing them. Range is 100 feet, yet I placed two cameras outside on opposite ends of DVR and still have a great picture. I placed two cameras inside and two outside of my father's house to keep an eye on him. He is very active for his age, so I check on him periodically. Audio is one-way, so you can only listen, still I can tell if he's outside, even if he's out of camera range. Any questions I had were quickly resolved by their support team within a day, or two. I placed one monitor in my father's Livingroom and added one in his bedroom, so he can see who's coming to his visit and watch for deliveries. Happy with system. Thank you.

Think I'll just list the issues. Who reads paragraphs nowadays anyway :-)- main system was up no more than two hours. had three "no storage device" errors. i've seen other reviews mention something similar. i'm NOT going to contact the manufacturer for something so fundamental in its literal first two hours - it's going back.- picture quality when connected over HDMI is a-w-f-u-l. like when televisions were CRT awful. no excuse for this. too much green, it seems?- rtsp streaming insutrctions on the device are hard-coded to an ip that doesn't even exist on my network (192.168.1.114) and there's no mention of the admin user's password in the link. shoddy programming. it should be dynamic and based on the current IP of the DVR. the info as provided will never work- streaming wasn't possible, even when requesting the correct address- no - I do not want to use an app or the internet. I want a closed system just for me and my family's security, with hard drive recordings to refer back to if need be.- i will give a little credit, though - data export to a usb drive, albeit slow, does seem to show a better quality pictureimagine someone not overly tech savvy who wants a simple wireless NVR for some home security. This will NOT work out of the box without some additional knowledge / experience. Shameful. And at $500US (May 2025) that's far too expensive of a crapshow to be acceptable.Sheesh my $25 dashcam works better than this. Maybe I'll just buy a bunch of those instead lol.Returning as soon as I submit this review.

Great system. Let's just say that right out. However, the only drawback (on mine at least) is a very audible click at various intervals emanating from the hard drive. Can be heard over ambient room noise as well, such as air conditioner, people talking, etc. The system appears to be working fine. The pictures are super clear, super sharp and the entire system is performing better than expected. It easily set up and connected to my WI-FI and I was also able to get it on my phone. Simple. All the cables are long enough and all the hardware is there It is just that audible click, almost like the same noise you get when you click an App. The fact that it occurs at various intervals is highly aggravating. Others who walk into the room have noticed it too and asked what that {{click}} sound was. I do not think the base is damaged but the click is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5. Overall, this is an affordable and really nice system, so far. Given an option of Hiseeu sending me a replacement base, I would take it, but for now, I am satisfied with this purchase.
