Reliable performance despite cheap-looking plastic
I’ve been using the SLx Outdoor Extension Lead Waterproof for a while now, and overall, it works just fine. The design is practical, and the waterproof feature does its job perfectly in outdoor conditions.At first, I was a bit concerned about the quality of the plastic—it feels a little cheap compared to some other outdoor extension leads. However, after regular use over some time, I haven’t encountered any issues at all. It seems to hold up well despite my initial impressions.

Works fine and sturdy
so I bought this house and I needed an extension lead to get the power to in market store I run at the weekends. It’s the length I needed - do we saw whatever the lamp to unwind it fully before using as wind coiled up you tend to get the cable warming which in turn causes more resistance in the power in the cable. It works perfectly for me and my only suggestion is that the clip on the waterproof cover for both of the plug sockets is flimsy and I’m sure with use it will break

Very pleased with the garden extension lead so easy to reel the lead back and to use.

It is reel!
Cable appears durable and is long enough for my needs. It is sturdy without the plug hanging loose and the cable and plug stow away completely within the case. I really like the socket covers that protect the connection to the appliance from the rain to quite a good degree. It also has a thermal cutout, presumably to protect the cable from overheating. Hopefully that will work if the 20m of cable is not fully wound out.The only minor criticism is the ergonomic design of the handle makes carrying this item seem unbalanced and awkward so it appears heavier than it is. Not worth reducing the rating.
