Best Doorknob for the price
A lot more expensive than a few years ago, but still is one of the best looking and simple styles. Works very well. ONE THING: make sure you install them CAREFULLY and CORRECTLY (read the instructions)

Hard to find Gainsborough Whitehall Door Knob
I have been using the Gainsborough Whitehall Door Knobs throughout my home for over 20 years. Due to constant use and punishing coastal environment occasionally one has to be replaced. Over time, they have become more difficult to find. The door knob was received in perfect condition. The set was complete. No items were missing. Looks just like the ones I ordered over 20 years ago - perfect match. Thank you!

Door Knob Set
very easy to install and fits well in my old doors . I installed 3 of them in less than 20 minutes. The finish matches the color and shine of our new sink as well. Great product.

Improperly Manufactured
The mounting plates that secure the locket to the door were improperly formed. As a result, the plates neither align themselves in the lockset hole, nor allow the rosettes to be screwed into place. It is possible to re-bend the alignment tangs to allow assembly, but that's not something any customer should be expected to do. This is a problem with Gainsborough, not the distributor.
