This is an impressive bit of kit, the quality is great right throughout from the adapter to the case included. A small leaflet with tiny text and images for instructions is included. They’re small enough to slip into the case alongside the plug if you wanted to keep them handy, but there isn’t much need, as realistically it's a intuitive design that works well. The only unintuitive part is that you need to twist the US plug prongs to swap it to the AUS mode.Just remember that when travelling with this, the device you’re plugging into needs to be suitable for the voltage in the country you are in. Almost everything we use is okay for 110 to 230v, but it's best practice to check, as there are some that won't be.Another thing to be aware of is that the device doesn’t provide an earth connection, which could be problematic from a safety standpoint depending on what you plug into the device. This is mostly of concern with regard to the UK electrical standards, as many international plugs don't have earthing by default like we normally do.The plug needs to be rotated upside down to be used in a UK socket for whatever reason, which is a bit odd. It's also very large, so it could be difficult to plug things in alongside it. The USB-C port being on the side runs into this issue quite a lot. As the gap between the plugs isn’t very large on most sockets. With it upside down, you’re unable to access the USB-C port on most UK double gang sockets unless you use a right-angle USB cable.Overall, this is a product that deserves a spot in your suitcase if it suits your specific use-case when travelling. It obviously shouldn’t be used for high current devices, but for those everyday items that need to be topped up while on the move, it's ideal. Just do a little research beforehand to see if this product is compatible with the sockets you’ll be using in the country you are travelling to, but there is a good chance it is.
