This works so well. It was super simple to put together the metal seems strong I love that it comes with a storage bag I think you definitely get a great value for how much it costs. It holds the photo backdrop.

I got this to hang a very large but relatively lightweight tapestry for a YouTube channel backdrop. I'm terrible at building things so couldn't figure out how to put it together until finding a video, but then it was very quick and easy. I didn't use the sand bags and it stood up fine and also didn't sag in the middle. Easy to put up and take down, definitely pleased with the purchase.

After 40 years as a photographer and I have to say I am impressed with the value of this background stand. Not only do you get the two stand sand the bar that goes across but they even throw in spring clamps to prevent the paper roll from unrolling. I have to be honest, I have always used a more primitive method; I'd throw a bit of gaffers tape on, spanning the roll and the bar. It worked but I can see how the clamps are better. You also get a nice case and two accessory sand bags, which is a must for this system, I will get into that next.This backdrop system is not very hearty. When the stands are extended to full length they will sway quite a bit and can easily fall over. This backdrop stand really needs these sand bags to weigh them down so it will not fall over.That being said, this is a really nice system and the locks on the stands lock down nice and tight and even though the center bar comes in sections it seems to be OK to hold a 10 ft paper roll. Having the bar in sections is nice for storage and makes the whole set easy to transport. I recommend this set highly if you take into account the points I have outlined. You can' go wrong for this price. I bought it because I work both in Florida and Oregon and the background stand that I have owned for 30 years is in Florida and I was going to box it and ship to Oregon where I need it more. Shipping would have been about $50, so even though my old system is so much beefier than this one I figured this was a no-brainer, how could I go wrong for this price? I now have two sets and I am very happy with my decision to get this cheaper system.

Ease of folding:I've used this item before. It does require two people to set it up for height. Also cost /usage is worth it even for a household. Also like it takes up little space once it goes back into it storage bag.

I purchased this backdrop stand for an my dog's first birthday and was very impressed with the quality.It’s sturdy, stable, and can easily support different types of backdrops (fabric, vinyl, balloon garlands, etc). The assembly was straightforward and didn’t require any tools – it only took few minutes to set up.The adjustable height and width make it versatile for different occasions. I’ve used it for both photo booths and as a decorative frame for party backdrops, and it worked perfectly each time.

This backdrop stand is easy to assemble and set up. The frame is light weight, so you will want to fill and use the sandbags provided (buy your own sand). The carry bag is plus.I did, however, notice a sway in the top bar when the actual ten foot wide backdrop was applied. This sway was evident in the fabric of the backdrop. After applying the clamps provided, even though my backdrop had a top sleeve and clamps weren't needed, it did look less evident. For the price, this frame was a good buy.
