Does exactly what it says
Great little device that has allowed me to stick my Freesat box in the cupboard out of sight, with just the little receiver tucked away at the side of the sound bar, and the sender stuck to the front of the Freesat box.Nice and easy, couldn't be happier as it works like a charm.

Cheap, cheerful and simple way to extend an infra red remote signal
Just needed to extend remote control signal to reach a hidden sensor and this was the cheap, simple and effective solution I needed.

Works a treat - a bargain if you're needing an IR etender!
Works a treat with my Sky + HD Box, box hidden away in a cabinet and this discretely sticks onto the side of the cabinet.

Excellent IR receiver/transmitter
Excellent for purpose and very good value for price.

Works perfectly
I have not written a review here before, but felt I had to as this works superbly. I just bought a soundbar and wanted to set it flush against the TV, but that blocked the TV sensor. I had no optimism that such a device would work, let alone a cheap one, but it does exactly what I wanted. The instructions aren't the clearest, but they aren't needed anyway. You even get sticky pads to secure both sensors if you want.I've only used it a few hours, but without a blip and there is no reason to suggest it will stop working.

Faulty, It just doesn't work.
It doesn't work. I have tried using a stand alone power supply, the usb socket on my PVR, in fact many sorts of usb power but it does not work. Use a monochrome setting on any phone camera and you will see IR light as white. I can see the signal from my hand set but nothing frfom the emitter on this lead. It is either faulty or they are poor quality, either way It doesn't work.

Excellent for poor IR receivers on some of the cheaper tvs
I recently acquired a 65” Baird smart tv with a backlight issue and replaced the backlights but the IR sensor is very poor, having to put the remote very closely to the sensor to get it to workTried a different remote still same just put it down to a cheap tvFitted this extender and I can now use the remote anywhere in the room even pointing away from the tvBrilliant for the price was going to build one but would have cost a lot more to buy parts
