Product works. Decent quality. Was able to bring power to a pre-wired shed.

Direct connections make for a clean install. Because nothing says amateur like 5 feet of power cord rolled up because you can't adjust the length.

I needed to put lights in an out building and didn’t want to run a permanent line. This plug allowed me to run temporary power to my building using a heavy extension cord. It worked great.

I power my shed with a solar generator, but I wired it up like a house. I just needed a way to connect the generator to the service panel. These sockets were just the trick, but I had to mount them in an unconventional way. I wish the mounting holes were a little larger so I wouldn’t have to use such small screws, but I got it all working. I don’t plug and unplug often, so I’m not sure how they’ll stand up over time with repeated use, but they appear well made and heavy-duty. Should last a while.

The media could not be loaded. Our Trailmanor 3023 camper has a 30 amp service. When camping in cold weather, we run a 15 amp extension cord from the power box to inside the camper. This allow me to operate a 110 volt heater without taxing the regular 30 amp service. It does not take much to quickly be using 30 amps! With this installed, I can now plug in an extra 15 amp extension cord into this power inlet to supply power to a dedicated line inside to run the extra heater.I purchased a heavy duty extension cord (12 gauge wire). I used a string to determine exactly how much of the cable I would need inside the camper and cut the extension cord as needed. The part with the female end was installed in the camper and the cut end connected to the WELLUCK Power Inlet. The Unit was caulked/sealed to make it weatherproof. I installed a replacement female outlet on the cut end of the extension cord which gave me a 13' heavy duty extension cord to use (when possible) to supply power to the new power inlet box.I remain very pleased with this install and it has worked out great. Having the extra 15 amp supply for a dedicated electric heater was great. I would highly recommend this product. I remain very pleased!

Very simple to install, provided screws were cheap and bent/stripped when I attempted to tighten them in the pilot holes in thin sheet metal. I used a quality self tapping screw instead. Unit is flush and low profile when all closed up.
