The build quality of this seems pretty good and while it may not protect as well as some other cases I have used in the past it is slimmer and doesn't have bits that are likely to tear, wear, and break off. Another positive is the area around the USB connector is sized such that USB-C accessories that do not fit in many protective cases should work in this. The opening for the USB-C connector is roughly the size of a USB-A connector - so plenty of room for most devices and connector bodies. The back appears to be real carbon fiber - or a very good feaux carbon fiber - not the typical fake carbon fiber junk.

Very nice case. I like that it's one piece, and it's quite easy to install the phone. Just snaps in. Quite different from the Otterbox Defender series case that is my usual choice. My only minor gripe is that it's a little bit slippery compared to the Otterbox, which uses a rubbery outer layer. But then the Otterbox is a much bulkier case. I just have to grip this case tighter when picking it up, and be a bit more careful overall. Of course the case is far grippier than the phone without a case. This case also works well with my cordless charger pad--much less finicky than my previous S8+ with the Otterbox Defender case. (I should say I would have got an Otterbox Defender case for this phone had they made one for the S20FE at this time. But then I never would have found this case, which I'm quite happy with so far after around a week of use.)

I've had this case for 4 years and my phone has survived every fall. Pair it with a good screen protector and its completely protected.

It hasn't been long enough to do a deep dive into it's durability, but my significant other, who owns the phone this baby is wrapped around, drops her phone like, once a day ... I have the broken and too expensive to repair graveyard of shattered glass and digitizers to prove it...But so far *knocks on wood* this case has prevented a calamity on her new device...Looks good, works good, and is reasonably priced...For the win.

Dropped my phone at least four times with this case. Did it's job perfectly.The only reason I'm buying a second one is because after 5 years of use the power button cover gave out.

Awesome case! Slim, sturdy, easy to grip, light, looks good. Hefty price tag but is worth it for a reliable case.

Quite honestly I'm a clutz - there isn't an air pocket I won't trip over and I'm forever dropping my phone. I do my best to get what I call 'Me Proof' phones when I have to buy a new one - the sturdiest one available at the time, but with this case I feel so much better about my phone lasting. I've only had my new phone for a little over a month and I can't tell you how many times I've dropped it already and yet I have no dings or scratches - YAY!!! It's the little things : )My only complaint is that I rely a lot on a pop socket for that little extra to hold onto and the contour of the back of this case does not allow for it. My daughter did hook me up with a LoveHandle that works great with my UAG case.
