MASTERCANOPY Replacement Pop Up Canopy Top (10x10, Black)

The Canopy Cover was for a replacement. It fit fine and working ok . It been through a few windy storms and has survived.

The listing clearly states that this cover only fits the 8x8 ft Kingkong canopy frame. I assumed my frame (I think it's a KD aluminum frame) was an 8x8 ft frame. When I put the cover on it was very loose. Turns out my frame measures 91.5 inches on each side. Since I'm using it in a permanent situation, I'm keeping it and using tie-down straps. Cover has D-rings for attaching the straps.

This product is used in Yuma, AZ where during the summer temps run between 110-120 degrees. Average temps from March-Nov. run in the 90's. The canopy weather so well, it lasts at least two summers. This one is for next year. Great product.

When our old canopy needed replacing it was nice to find this option, which theoretically would fit the frame we had. And this does, but in a baggy way. I can guess the dimensions were made a bit generous to make it universal fit. This is ok to a degree, but now the canopy billows and sails in the breeze such that in a stiff wind I worry it will be prone to really getting pulled on the few attachment points. We'll see. Another drawback to the oversized nature is that its much easier for rain to accumulate in large quantity in the sags. It would be a nice feature for this, or any canopy maker really, to put eyelets in those areas to let water drain. This is a common enough problem I would definitely pay a bit more for that feature. One other concern- a nice feature is including the hook and loop trim to allow side wall attachment, but unfortunately it was the loop side, the same as on the side walls. This prompted a need to find a source for back to back hook material. Not a huge deal, but adds some cost and time if you run into similar situation.

Had a cheap no name brand canopy,( Velcro straps tearing off thin canvas, after first set up, and some tearing by end of summer) It fit luckily. Added bonus this top came with Velcro loop and hook material already sewn on inside edges to fit rain gutters and some side panels. Heavier material and corner 'D' rings tie down the canopy better. Second year of use and no wear yet.

This replacement canopy is not like the original material, it is much lighter weight and does not provide shade as the original. It allows sunlight to penetrate through. The original had a silver reflective coating that eliminated 99% harmful sunlight rays from coming through the canopy. Waste of money and time and now have a useless 10 x 20 canopy frame with no cover. The original MasterCanopy cover was of much higher quality than this replacement.

Fabric was much thicker and more durable than original canopy. Easy install.I'll definitely buy again when the canopies on my other two popup tents wear out.

High quality replacement cover. Fits ABC canopy frame & a much higher quality replacement cover than what I purchased from ABC canopy last year. Heavy material, lined & sturdy. Was worried it may not fit, the ABC frame, but it did. Super fast ship.
