Just Do It
Why struggle with points and condensers? This thing takes 5 minutes to install. Instructions are excellent if you have an ounce of automotive know how. Car runs 100% better and way less maintenance. Quality points are almost impossible to find nowdays.

The single-greatest upgrade you can make to your points-equipped engine.
I've literally sold 100+ of these over the past couple of decades, and have never heard a complaint. I have no personal experience with one failing, and both instances where I've been told about it were others saying "I heard..." On my advice, a friend installed one in his otherwise-restored '71 Charger R/T nearly 20 years ago and it still fires up instantly today. I bought one just to have a "slap in" distributor for the many engines I build and/or service. I can throw it in to use for break-in, or bypass the vehicle's ignition system, and I know it's going to work every time. If the engine doesn't start, it's NOT an ignition problem. It's that reliable.Installs in minutes, improves performance and starting over points, and is nearly invisible if you're worried about show judges or nit pickers.
